A United States surveillance drone has been intercepted above the Ukranian region of Crimea, a Russian state arms and technology group said Friday.
"The drone was flying at about 4,000 metres (12,000 feet) and was virtually invisible from the ground. It was possible to break the link with US operators with complex radio-electronic" technology, said Rostec in a statement.
The drone fell "almost intact into the hands of self-defence forces" added Rostec, which said it had manufactured the equipment used to down the aircraft, but did not specify who was operating it.

Yep, the U.S. just found out that the Russians are NOT the North Koreans nor are they the Iranians nor the Libyans nor the Syrians-—they can roughly match our own aerospace defense technology and deal with it accordingly.
Are we stupid or what...Playing games with Russia is dumb. And guess what....there are Ukranians down there....a lot of them from both sides...and Tatars...aka...Muslims.
I doubt it’s a US drone. Our stuff doesn’t have to fly so low.

We should send in troops to take over their airports and port facilities instead, then fly our flag on their government buildings.

Until I get independent confirmation to include video evidence showing a US drone parked next to something uniquely Russian or Ukrainian I don’t buy this for a microsecond.
