Gun Owners of America Endorses Greg Brannon for US Senate
Raleigh, NC Today, Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund announced their endorsement of Republican candidate Greg Brannon for U.S. Senate from North Carolina.
"In six years, Senator Kay Hagan has done more to harm our Second Amendment than most Senators accomplish in multiple terms. Thats why its time for gun owners in North Carolina to exercise their right to vote and oust Senator Hagan from her office in Washington," said Gun Owners of America's Tim Macy.
Macy added, "Greg Brannon is committed to restoring and defending the Second Amendment to its fullest intent. This is our chance to send a true pro-gun patriot to Washington and to have our Second Amendment protected by a true leader. Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund is proud to support Dr. Greg Brannon in his bid to take Senator Hagans seat."
Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund raises funds to support the election of pro-gun candidates at all levels of government. GOA has a record of helping pro-gun candidates defeat anti-gunners in hundreds of races across the country over the past 30 years.

GO BRANNON!!!
You are doing great work, Cotton, by promoting these senate tea party challengers. Do you have any insight as to why Mark Levin is not promoting any of them with appearances on his radio show? In past cycles he would have tea party chlengers on his show.

Thank you. Other than the book I’ve written, this is the most I can do. Levin has had some on his show. Both Sasse and McDaniel have been on his show and he’s endorsed both.
I know Tillis is not the man, but, is Brannon the best, Conservative choice in the race? I seriously don’t know. That’s why I’m asking.

He seems to be. He’s a doctor and he’s been scaring the hell out of the establishment. Rand Paul and Mike Lee and FreedomWorks have endorsed him.
The primary’s on May 6th and Brannon is tied with Tillis. No other candidate seems to be gaining ground and based on his endorsements, I’m for Brannon.
Levin said that he cannot interview long-shot Senate candidates, as that would take up his whole program, said eighty people would want air time. I don’t think it would take up his program, if he cut it to a dozen or so, as he spends so much time anyway talking about the challengers from the Tea Party.
Does NC have a run-off if one candidate does not exceed 50%?
“Does NC have a run-off if one candidate does not exceed 50%?”
It’s 40% in NC. But there’s 8 people running. So there’s likely to be a runoff.
OK, so one candidate only has to get 40% to win w/o a run-off. I’d feel better if it was 50%, but, thanks for the info.
How much damage do you think that “law suit” thing is gonna cause him? If not in the Primary, in the General? That’s the only thing about Brannon that makes me nervous. The uninformed voter says: “Oh, the dude was sued and lost the case in court? Can’t vote for him.” I just wish to hell that we could get a Tea Party Candidate, once in awhile that did not have any skeletons in the closet or the IQ of a can of Spam like Todd Akin.
“How much damage do you think that law suit thing is gonna cause him?”
I still think it was cooked up but the people may overlook it. I know he’s appealing the jury verdict. The people of NC will have to decide if misleading investors compares with wrecking the economy and voting for Obamacare.
In all honesty, though, I really don’t know. If I lived in NC, I would vote for Brannon over Tillis and Brannon over Hagan, and not just because I just vote for republicans.
