HHS does not know how many of the people who signed up for Obamacare have followed through and paid their premiums, Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told a House panel this morning.
“I can’t tell you because I don’t know that,” Sebelius told Rep. Tom Price at a Ways and Means Committee hearing on the agency’s budget.

I suppose she has some cover, in that, the best she could give would have been an end-of-day figure from yesterday. So she can say she doesn’t know without considering herself to be dishonest.
Yet the insurers are apparently being told to “trust us and pay the claims anyway”.

Obamacare law says something to the effect that any losses suffered by the insurance coverage during the first year or so will be covered by the Government.
So all she has to do is ask the Ins. Companies how many people that signed up thru eithere federal or state exchanges to date have paid their first months bill.
The Exec. Branch is nothing but Professional Liars.
My guess is UNDER a million have paid and you can see my prediction for how many of those were unsubsidized in my tagline.

Any decent manager would demand to know enrollment and payment figures. Of course we know this level of incompetence has never been seen before.
Somebody’s job must be to know that info. Demand a name and subpoena that person.
sure she’s lying so the obvious next question would be; is there a government account established in which to deposit funds from the people that have been paid? If so, where is it, who’s in charge of it and since you are the Director, why don’t you know how much is in it?
Well, if their website is still fouled up (and I’m sure it is), of course they can’t keep track. BUT, since they’d be shouting from the heavens if they were meeting their numbers, it’s a good guess few or none have paid premiums.
From what I’ve read there is no back-end payment system to pay insurers, so who the hell really knows?
Hey, it's all really great... best thing since sliced bread. It's just the "messaging" that needs to be fixed... so I'm sure the Dems will hire more Hollywood types to handle the little PR issues.
