We saw this last night after my shift. Wife likes to watch Kimmel. Me, not so much. I thought Kimmel was ready to mess himself. Perry should have been in the “Come and Take It Austin” march.
Great interview. He was relaxed and funny. A few more of these type of interviews and good debate performances, Perry might be able to get his second chance.
I’d bet Kimmel crapped his pants when Perry said that.
I don’t know who or what a Kimmel is. I never watch tv.
I will never vote for a senator in a primary. I believe governors (or CEO of large company or proven military leader)are best prepared to take on the WH - especially a very successful governor like Perry. Senators are the worst candidates - they are all mouth.

Used lower case for the shorthand version;)
“Cruz has that ability to turn a MSM ambush against them.”
I will admit I have my hopes on the guy (and voted for him). But he really hasn’t had the trial by fire just yet. And he won’t get that until he is the front runner for President. That’s when the liberal scum unleash their worst.
Fingers crossed.
They would hit him with their worst, he'd kind of pause for a second, cock his head slightly, and then begin talking. More importantly, he could express conservative ideas in a way that even the dumbest of the sheeple could understand it. It was just magnificent! And boy has it been missed.
Thanks for posting this, I missed it last night.
Why?
Yeah...I figured that one out, quick.
And a good evening to you, Sir!
There are only two ways to learn how to combat the ambushes. Either lose in a POTUS campaign and try again or be sharp enough to handle it the first rodeo. I really prefer to not go with a horse that didn’t win the race his first shot.
Cruz’s “trial by fire” from DoWorst AND the GOPe was pretty darn hot and he got better as they got worse. He’s quick on his feet, arguing successfully before the SCOTUS multiple times shows that. Maybe most important is that he was seriously and successfully debating the Constitution as a teenager.
Kimmel is a late night “comedian” who is not very funny. I just watched last night, since he was at SXSW. There were some DRUNK people on 6th street.
He’s my kind of guy - I wish he was better in a debate.
You don’t mean it! Drunk people on 6th street?
Well, I swaneee I’m surprised and outraged.
I had the opportunity to do some State of California work at the local level under Reagan. He was always a very decisive man though at times weighing the facts and consequences took more than the usual time to make a decision. I always thought he had a start of such character in his youth.
Guess you heard about the “suspected” DUI running from police at 1:30 AM this morning. Ran over a barricade, hit 23 people and killed two people on a MOPED.
Good grief! No I didn’t hear about that!
Where did it happen?
