On Friday (7 March), high-ranking German MEPs from the European Greens leaked a confidential document from the Council of Ministers regarding the ongoing TTIP negotiations.

“TTIP threatens to take away democracy’s means for social and environmental management of the internal market,” Green MEP Sven Giegold warned, defending the decision to publish the document.

It is not the first time that the Greens have criticized the planned free trade agreement between the EU and US. But last week’s leak has added fuel to the fire. …

Where I live here in upper Bavaria one need only mash on the navi app of his smart phone to see 1000 arrows pointing to restaurants in this resort area but there is only one that has a decent American-style steak. However, that steak comes not out of Kansas but out of Argentina because of the phobia in Germany against hormones.

The Germans are also obsessed with bio vegetables and are in other absurd respects, green. When I say to them that we have been eating hormones in American beef for generations with no apparent harm, my neighbors give me a stare that says, "that does not compute."

The green movement has close association not only with the failed communist experiment but also finds roots among the Nazis. Now, ironically, they claim that the European Union, which is some degree a stepchild of their ideology, is behaving undemocratically. The Green party in my estimation has always been the party of one man, one vote, one time and should not be taken very seriously when it's complains of high handedness in government.

In any event, when confronting the Greens and alleging that their color camouflages their true totalitarian aims, one must understand that we are up against a quasi-religion which is come into places like Germany in the vacuum created by the death of Christianity. Hence, one must appeal to the emotions while pretending to address the intellect.

Well, your portrait tells a different story. The hormones make ya’ look like a Lieutenant General from the Civil War ;)

Good supplies for St Patty’s day, and with Bavarian brew, I think you have all the essential bases covered.
