(CNN) - Nearly 30 senators staged an overnight debate on the Senate floor Monday night through Tuesday morning, trying to bring attention to what they say is a dire need to combat climate change with legislative action.
But Sen. Mary Landrieu, the new chairman of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, was noticeably absent from the demonstration. The vulnerable Democrat faces re-election this fall in Louisiana, a state with large swaths of conservative voters.
And Republicans aren't letting her absence go unnoticed.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee, which aims to get Republicans elected to the Senate, put out a new web video Tuesday, hitting Landrieu for allowing the talk-a-thon to take place, despite her chairmanship. The video also argues the senator doesn't stand up enough for American energy.

Instead of attacking the Dems overall on this, they go after just one.

What they need to do is play videos of all those liars when they were either giving speeches on the senate floor or in their state telling everyone you can keep your doctor, insurance and save 2500 dollars..
Then show their rantings on climate change with the trailer saying “can you believe a word they say?”

The Earth’s climate has been in a state of flux since it started spinning. It will be until the Sun burns out. Not a damn thing we can do to effect climate on a global scale, but these Socialist scum are being inordinately successful in keeping the sheep scared...
These people are an active danger to us all.

Why not take the Senate floor and ask the Dems where our electric power is going to come from when they shut sown all the coal and nuclear plants?
