“Every time they show that Mary Schiavo woman I want to punch her in the face..”

This is the same woman who destroyed a bunch of budding airlines, and tens of thousands of job,s after the Valujet crash screeching “how unsafe the new airlines are because of OLD AIRPLANES!, OLD AIRPLANES!!”

Meanwhile, I was sitting in the bar at St. Louis Airport, looking out on the oldest fleet flying in America at that time, TWA’s. No mention of that by her, of course.

I consider her an uninformed union hack.

That’s on the east coast of So. Vietnam, off the famous beach resort city. If the plane had crashed there, Vietnamese radar would have picked it up much earlier when it entered their air space either near Phou Quoc Island, CaMau on the tip of the Delta or off of Saigon.

Story doesn’t make any sense.

She’s a hack, for her to say that TWA 800 was caused by a “Mechanical failure” shows what kind of person she is..but hey, I guess these hacks are all used to lying to people with a straight face, Obama is still claiming if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor

Sorry, Sarah, but TWA800 WAS a mechanical failure. Quit drinking conspiracy Kool-Aid.

I am starting to think it was hijacked, Malaysian Airlines realized it, and Boeing remote-controlled it over the Malacca Straight back to landing in Beijing. Then the Iranians trashed the on-board communications and it did crash in Vietnam waters.

But it was interesting to work this who-dun-it. We’ll know soon enough.

I can’t believe people are still talking about mechanical failures. A mechanical failure does not cause the pilot to pull a 180, fly not towards the nearest airport, but to Indonesia, with the transponder off. A hijacking does.

Yep...it gets tiresome when folks don't make that connection. I've tried to follow this as close as I can and I'm leaning towards the co-pilot as the culprit or co-culprit.

The planes already mostly fly themselves. Our military has this capability I’m sure its possible for a 777.

No, it wasn't. Many conspiracy theories are bunkum. This one is not.

Over 200 eyewitnesses saw a missile streak up to hit flight 800. Two of them happened to be in a Navy plane (National Guardsmen), and one of those happened to be a missile identification expert.

Yes flight 800 was the only 747 in history to suffer from spontaneous combustion.

Well now Sean Hannity will get over his hysteria on this.

before his competency can be established we must know his party affiliation.

So who shot the missile and how did they keep it quiet?

>”How could the plane have then been on the radar 100 miles away in Indonesia if it crashed off the Vietnamese coast”<

The Radar signature you are referring to wasn’t the Plane’s Transponder signal.

The other Radar signature could have been anything.

"Yes flight 800 was the only 747 in history to suffer from spontaneous combustion."

Are you really trying to say a tiny spark in a tank cannot bring down an aircraft in a catastrophic manner?

'Cuz I damned sure know better.

And eyewitnesses of fiery aerial explosions at night can be wildly wrong. Again, I know from personal experience.

I totally agree with you. There was no mid air breakup for any reason or they would have found tons of debris. The plane is intact unless it crashed somewhere far away from Malaysia. I also agree on TWA 800. It was shot down. There is a woman and her husband that I think were complicit at least in the cover-up.

We may never know the answers to those questions. They DIDN’T keep it quiet, the 200+ witnesses compiled their observations and it was (maybe still is) on a website who’s address escapes me now.

I also have a vivid recollection from that day. I happened to be home from work when the first reports went out that 800 went down. I happened to be watching TV, and I was fixated on the coverage. Within no more than 15 minutes — before ANYone speculated as to the cause — there was a cute little animation on MSNBC (back before it became a Propaganda channel of the White House) that showed it was a center fuel tank explosion, and how the lift from that explosion might make it seem like a missile streaking up.

The animation was watermarked, Property of the CIA.

That shocked me. How did they have this animation THAT quick and making THESE determinations and discounting a missile before it was even MENTIONED?

And why the CIA???? What the hell were they doing authoring animations to ‘explain’ airline incidents before the parts had even cooled down?

Later, the same animation was widely circulated, but now it had been rebranded: Property of the FAA.

That, alone, told me something heinous was up.

Especially airborne National Guard missile identification experts.

So there was a smoke trail from the sky to the ocean?
What a coincidence. The plane fell into the ocean.
I’m not buying the missile story due to Occams Razor. They were too high for a MANPAD and anything bigger would have attracted attention,

The fact that TWO transponders were turned off(Something the 9/11 hijackers did as well) shows this was deliberate..Let’s say for the sake of argument that this was some catastrophic mechanical failure, it would have crashed in the sea of China, NOT flown hundreds of more miles in a totally different direction, if there a failure the plane could not fly..the plane flew, hundreds of miles, so someone took control of that plane, was the co-pilot allowing someone else to be in the cockpit and he took over the plane, who knows, but this was a deliberate takeover of the plane, only question is where is it now
TWA 800 got shot down by a missile..of course the media refuses to mention that because it doesn’t fit into their “Mechanical failure” theory..they will never admit it
