Barack Obama picked far left 36 year-old organizer Vivek Murthy as the next Surgeon General.
Not for his medical expertise but for his activism.
Vivek was the co-founder and president of “Doctors for America,” which began as “Doctors for Obama in 2008.”
Vivek also wants doctors to ask patients, including children, if there are any firearms in their home. This would be included on their file that would be shared with several government agencies under Obamacare. Investor’s Business Daily reported:

Uh Oh! I have shot skeet with my doctor. She knows I have guns. Maybe she won’t tell on me if I don’t tell on her.

Why would you ever answer a question like that truthfully?
The best asnwer is no, I don’t own any guns. Period. Anything else will most likely be noted as a “yes”.
If it is going to be as tough as they say to get in to see a doctor, who are they going to be able to ask.
There are some vulnerable red state RAT senators who are going to be very uncomfortable voting to confirm this turd.....
We took our 4 month old to the doctor and we were asked by the doctor do we have guns in the house. I flat out told her it was none of her business.

Why won’t this sanctimonious fraud ask patients if they have any 5-gallon buckets or bathtubs in their homes. Both of those things are more hazardous to children than guns.
Better response: "Did you know that according to the National Institute of health/Center for Disease Control, medical malpractice kills 110,000 people per year in the United States. That's eleven times the number of people who die each year from firearms. Seems to me that from a statistical standpoint, firearms are safer than doctors."
A simple no followed by finding a new doctor or a referral to another doctor if you want to make a statement.
Sadly, many weak people are intimidated by DOCTORS. We need to get the word out that doctors really aren’t God. People need to know they don’t have to answer this question.

“I do not discuss my personal or family security matters with anyone other than family members. Now, unless you have a Law Enforcement Official’s Badge and a Warrant you should discontinue your line of questioning or I will sue you for violation of my 4th Amendment Rights.”
