What I see is two tech crew had ‘middle eastern/muslim’ names. Also it is not documented but the co pilot had the same and had only been flying 7 years. That is enough time after 9-11 to train a few radical muslim pilots and getting them in the driver’s seat. My thoughts are inside/outside job combo. Probably not the co pilot but tech crew and passengers that had stolen passports.

They just scanned it, which is why they have a record. But they didn’t check it until the plane went missing,

i thought scanning checked it ... my mistake.. what function does scanning serve?

It only checks numbers if the country or airport is tied into the Interpol database. Malaysia did not check the database, according to Interpol, so I guess they don’t routinely do this.

They probably will in the future....
