Arizonans think Gov. Jan Brewer was right in vetoing controversial legislation seen as anti-gay, according to a new poll, with a plurality in the state also supporting same-sex marriage for the first time. Nearly three in four Arizona voters said they supported Brewer’s decision to veto the bill, with only 18 percent against it, according to a Public Policy Polling poll out Tuesday. A strong majority of each party, including Republicans, were behind her move.

Probably not far wrong. The problem anymore ain’t so much moronic leftist politicians and moronic leftist ideas, but the morons who elect them. They’ve placed the loons in charge of the loony bin.

The list of appropriate places to flee to is getting shorter.

“The left-leaning polling firm also found ..”

Funny, I took a poll a while ago and 99% of respondents opposed the veto.

Public opinion only counts when trying to strip rights from Christians. If people vote for a definition of marriage, that’s null and void.

Democrats have been supremely busy. They have undermined us on all fronts - foreign and domestic.

It is unlikely we will remain the country we were in any reasonable facsimile of what it was when I grew up.

The bill was two pages and never mentioned anything but religious freedom, my guess very few people ever read it

I read it, and my only concern was that it might have given the courts ultimate say over which religious beliefs are “sincerely held”.

You know I really don't doubt these polls on gay marriage...

For the last decade the every facet of the mainstream media has portrayed homosexuals in nothing but a positive light, every sitcom seems to have at least one homosexual character who is always smart, funny and likable. Every afternoon talk show has a parade of rich, successful, attractive Hollywood celebrities who just happen to be Homosexual. Homosexuals are presented as fun, sassy, and cool. While on the flip side, people who oppose gay rights and gay marriage are portrayed as angry, bigoted, uncool and living in the past.

Quite frankly I'm surprised support is not even higher, heck if you promoted pedophiles to such a degree as homosexuals have been promoted, you would probably have close to the same support for pedophile rights.

My move from Oregon to Arizona in a quest for a more sane environment has been a total waste of time, energy, and $. Our country has truly been flushed down the toilet.
