Well, I'm sure Rubio would LOVE to "take the lead on this", but since the Senate already passed it, I doubt he has much sway over the other body.

One of the worst RINOs in the House from Rubio's home state is Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen. She's an outspoken supporter of the left's pet causes like gay marriage and illegal alien amnesty. (She's so bad, sellout Marco Rubio looks like Ronald Reagan next to her) Oddly enough, she's not on most freepers radar screens, and those who HAVE heard of her tend to make excuses for her ("Oh but she's with us on pro-life issues and she HAS TO vote liberal to WIN in a district like that... blah blah blah"). Similar to the excuses conservatives made for RINO Clinton yes-man/IRA suckup Peter King until lately (and I'm still not convinced conservatives have woken up about him... there's a good chance he'll put on a dog and pony show in time for the primary and they'll fall in love with that RINO traitor again)

Meanwhile, while uber-RINOs like Ileana Ros-Lehtinen get a pass, we have a bunch of conservatives here who are hellbent on defeating solid conservatives like Pat Roberts. After all, Mark Levin said its "time for him to go" -- and who can argue with that? ;-)
