Savage on Thursday on WMAL in Washington, D.C. claimed the freedom fighters in Ukraine are neo-Nazis and his guest, former conservative Paul Craig Roberts, alleged that American neo-cons are secret Israelis provoking Russia.
Radio host Michael Savage has trumped Matt Drudge’s notorious tweet from last year that Vladimir Putin is the “leader of the free world.” Savage on Thursday on WMAL in Washington, D.C. claimed the freedom fighters in Ukraine are neo-Nazis and his guest, former conservative Paul Craig Roberts, alleged that American neo-cons are secret Israelis provoking Russia. The bizarre claims came during an exchange which featured Savage praising the paranoid “Prison Planet” website of pro-Russia and pro-marijuana commentator Alex Jones.
Media analyst Cliff Kincaid said today that Savage’s show, featuring 9/11 truther Paul Craig Roberts, demonstrates that it was a big mistake for the popular Washington, D.C. radio station to let Michael Savage take over Sean Hannity’s afternoon time slot. “Hannity is a serious conservative who would never feature such nonsense,” Kincaid pointed out.

I have difficulty buying the neo-Nazi line. I doubt that what is going on in Ukraine is anywhere near as ideologically pure as some are trying to make it seem. Furthermore, I don’t trust the motives of those who engage in this demagoguery

I don’t like it when he mocks Hannity as “the Wallbanger”. Construction workers are the salt of the earth, and I respect them. Hannity has a lot of faults, but working with his hands for a living and earning his way to fame, isn’t one of them.

If you want information unfiltered by the MSM for the Obamites try to get bachelor podcasts/and or listen to him live. Batcherlor is a NY sytle Republican, and may be too liberal for some at this Blog, but he and his guests are knowledgeable and interesting. Learn to do your own filtering, that be thinking in Rio Linda, because his guests run the gambit of opinions. I am, and I guess others will be the better informed.
Savage dissed and rudely dismissed legendary talk show host caller Jimmy From Brooklyn who is an self-educated expert on Communism , Socialism , etc. who called in last Friday to talk about the Ukraine issue . I will never listen to Savage again .
A number of years ago, I heard Jimmy get through on Hannity's show. Hannity had his sound guy cue up the Twilight Zone theme and laughed him off as a kook...

Yeah, I don’t like it when he knocks people for not having a college degree. He was in an argument recently with someone about some minor point during which the caller was holding his ground pretty well.
At one point he asks, “What degrees do you hold? I have a PhD...” the caller was rather incredulous and said “Good for you” at which point Savage hung up on him, then badmouthed him as uneducated. Just a scumbag.
