Issa is an ars. He either does not have the power to send her to jail in contempt or he is just another weak piece of crap. She have him the finger and he just curled in a ball and wept. Another bone head.
To: ColdOne
Jail should loosen her tongue!

It could happen. She could get immunity between now and Wednesday.

Has Issa ever produced anything of value? Any convictions result from his numerous hearing over the years?
To: ColdOne
If I pulled that, I’d be in jail faster than you can say government corruption.

Oh, heck! GO ahead, turn her loose.
The way loose ends have seemed to be getting tied up lately, maybe she'll beat herself to death with a stick or something...or have an arrhythmia or something...
Lot of that going 'round in some circles.

Let's boil this down to the likely outcome and save a lot of time:
Issa: "Lerner's going to testify!"
Lerner: "No, I'm not!"
Issa: "OK."

Slap her in jail then. Let her rot.I don't see a problem here. Methinks, prior to the 16th Amendment, the public back then would have lynched her.

The easy answer is that Mr. William W. Taylor is no longer her attorney. If he is no longer represented by her and cutting a deal with Mr. Issa, Mz Lerner may not be wanted to be thrown under the Obamabus. I hope she is very conscious about her health.

Has Issa ever produced anything of value? Any convictions result from his numerous hearing over the years? You are right. Issa is from California and don't hold your breath just because he has an R after his name. He is useless.

Issa should do what John Wood and Harold Velde did when they ran HUAC. If they called you up and you thumbed your nose at the committee, you would wind up in a place like Lewisburg Federal Penetentiary.
To: ColdOne
I thought the House has subpoena power?
To: ColdOne
The attorney claiming that Issa is wrong is in effect testifying. This combination of testifying and not testifying and pleading the fifth yet demanding immunity cannot be allowed to stand. It’s bad enough we’ve thrown all rules out the window when it comes to our so-called president, but this is a bureaucrat who has basis to claim such immunity from the legal consequences of her activities.
She should be taken into custody and held on contempt charges. She has given up her potential for immunity based upon her claims at her prior appearance and there is massive, overwhelming evidence that she abused her office and turned it into an auxiliary attack post against the American people in the most egregious and anti-Constitutional ways imaginable.
