WASHINGTON — Representative John D. Dingell Jr., Democrat of Michigan, the longest serving member of Congress in history, on Monday was expected to announce that he will not seek re-election in 2014, and will leave Congress in 2015.
Mr. Dingell, 87, has served in the House for more than 58 years, under 11 presidents.

I always figured that his wife would run to replace him. She’s a big time Democrat Washington Lobbyist and is about 20 Yrs + his junior in age.

Conservatives, and the rest of the, possible, GOP political ideologies, haven’t found a successful way to, actually, win the most votes from within cities (with a few exceptions), especially from within the highest levels of political office and especially for many, consecutive election cycles in a row. From within all U.S. cities, whenever the GOP does win, they are usually RINO Republicans. This is an ongoing problem for all of conservatism where, even, the worldwide left has had a political foothold over the worldwide right in all cities, worldwide, from day one of political existence.
