With 12 year term limits, he would have been gone 48 years ago.

“What are we building here? Royalty?”

Clinton, Bush, Kennedy, Cuomo, Pryor, Gore, - we passed that threshold already.

It is gonna be tough with his wife the odds on favorite replacement and her being a “Fisher” and a former wonk for GM and big in the DC circles means she is a rain maker when it comes to political dough. She might free up DNC money for other races if she can get it on her own and not have the DNC come to John’s rescue like the did in 2010’ and the money spent on him cost them dearly around the state. Stay tuned for more....

Wish I could draw. I’d make a cartoon called Dingellberry the Barnacle boy (John Conyers is the second longest serving member).

Wow. Try to imagine just how corrupt this man is, after 60 years in Congress.

Pro-abortion, of course.

The name “Dingell” was a campaign stunt to make it part of a campaign slogan. John D. Dingell, Sr. changed his name from Dzieglewicz for his campaign for office with the slogan ‘Ring (in) with Dingell.’

I don’t believe Junior has ever held a private sector job. He was 6 years old when his father was elected. He did a short stint in the military as a resume builder and then went to work as an aide in DC and he’s never left.

My has language become distorted. “...longest serving...”? All this old degenerate coot did was “serve” him self, his family and his friends at the public trough. Serve? Bah! Good riddance.

He was a dem for sure but he was A+ in the eyes of the NRA. Who knows what pops up out of Michigan to take his place, hopefully not some lefty ann arbor commie.

Good. Let her run, I say. The name recognition she’s counting on might very well backfire. Better her than some random rat who can claim they had nothing to do with Obamacare. Bring on the “no more Dingells” ads.

I still hear Al Gore’s arrogant voice “What about Dingell-Norwood?”

I can also hear Dingell’s arrogant voice about how “we have to control the people....”

See ya John. We won’t miss you.
