This is not the old-line Stalin approach, that’s for sure. But I’d guess Putin can control the election counting. He’d never risk losing the Ukraine.
I still expect Russian troops on the ground.
The problem for Putin is, all those little “stan” countries are waiting for him to tie up his troops so they can go active again.
