Key is defining those bedrock principles.
***It is those that make conservatives say, “bye bye” if they are not followed. Like being pro-life, in my book. I won’t vote for any candidate that I know is pro-choice.

From what I can see, there are a few SOCON principles that are bedrock, and very few Defcon or Fiscon issues. Can I vote for a Socon who doesn’t believe in the balanced budget amendment? Yes. Can I vote for a fiscon who thinks abortion should be legal even for PBAs? No.

I could not vote for a “lying, babykilling, gun-grabbing, homosexual agenda loving statist”, and for a while, JimRob said he couldn’t either. But then he put republicanism ahead of conservatism and endorsed Romney. So, there’s no way my proposal would be implemented. CINOs and RINOs are allowed to coopt and circumvent Free Republic.
