I don’t care what they say. The constitution and natural law tell me what’s what.
Sounds like another constitutional right about to go down the tubes.
I'm in a public place, therefore my right to self defense is in a public place. I don't know by what idiocy anyone would think "...keep and bear arms..." in any way was restricted to just the domicile.
Where in the second amendment does it say "at home" or "self defense"?
The Narrative of Thomas Mellen, 1848 - aged 92
Survivor of The Battle of Bennington Aug. 16,1777:
“I enlisted,” said he, “at Francestown NH in Colonel Stickney’s regiment and Captain Clark’s company, as soon as I learned that Stark would accept the command of the State troops; six or seven others from the same town joined the army at the same time. We marched forthwith to Number Four and stayed there a week. Meantime I received a horn of powder and run two or three hundred bullets. I HAD MY OWN GUN.”

Are we to be instructed that the right of self defense is conditioned on one’s location?

To his Excellency Jonas Galusha Gov of the State of Vermont
NB Please to direct the commissions if forwarded to the Post Office Bradford. This was a company of Minute Men which enlisted to be called upon in case of an emergency but not having been needed it was discharged at the close of the war in 1815. The captain of the company Emerson Corliss was an old Revolutionary hero. He enlisted when he was only seventeen years of age and was in the battles of Bunker Hill, Trenton, Princeton, Bennington, Stillwater,
Saratoga, and many others. He was twice wounded and at the battle of Bennington. seven balls were shot through his coat and one through his hat. Mrs. PS Chamberlin of Bradford and Mrs RW Chamberlin of Newbury are his granddaughters.” p410

When analyzing this article, consider the source - its a left wing rag.
Stare Decisis.
If they rule against a right of having a firearm outside the home(self defense), the Congress should remove funding for every Federal Marshal and security detail at the SCOTUS and Federal Courts that ruled against us. We’ll see how they enjoy being exposed to the same world as we are.

with a CCW I’m going in to ANY city situation without my Kimber?
I don’t think so.
You think the police can or will protect you?
Ask all those who’ve been assaulted by these criminals.
Trevon had it right.
Thanks for posting this, neverdem.
Fyi - male citizens were required to own firearms to fight against the British. I'm sure the intent was that they never be taken outside the home???
All Americans should have 1) ignored ANY infringement of their rights, and 2) should have worked ceaselessly to impeach and disbar or some other censure against any lawmakers or judges who ever wrote any law to the contrary.
Alan Gottlieb was talking with the guys on the Armed American Radio show about this last Sunday.
He said that there are three circuit rulings against the second amendment, and two rulings in support of it. Which almost forces the SCOTUS to hear the Drake case in New Jersey.
If they do, and rule for freedom, it will be a huge setback against gun haters.
It is time to understand the USSC is a lawless bunch who rule for political and devilish reasons.
