TULSA, Oklahoma -
Tulsa police say a 19-year-old man may be paralyzed after an early morning shooting at a house in the 2500 block of East 1st Street.
Officers were called to the home just before 4 a.m. and found the wounded man lying in the back yard.
"He had been struck at least once by a bullet," said Captain Steve Odom, Tulsa Police Department.
The woman who owns the house told police the man entered her 19-year-old daughter's bedroom window. The two got into an argument, and the man began hitting the girl, police believe.
I guess the police aren’t releasing any significant details because no one was charged with a crime.
Well, he broke a rule that I have never broken and I would advise all to heed; NEVER, EVER, EVER argue or even strongly disagree with your significant other/spouse in front of others in general, and in-laws and parents in particular.
But seriously, I hope that the man is not paralyzed permanently.
serves the bassturd right
“Let me guess:
The guy says the girl invited him in, they got into a fight, her mother shot him.”
Corrected version:
The guy says the girl invited him in, they got into a fight, he began beating the girl, wouldn’t stop beating her, then her mother shot him.
Range time would have prevented major medical costs.
Yes, I don’t approve of beating women.
If true, this was the man's first mistake.

Woo hoo!! And we're now over 58%!! Go, FReepers!! Thank you all very much!! We can do this. |
So then I take it that the elopement is off.
That Amish guy won’t be beating any more women if he’s paralyzed.
nope...you come in through the door, ask the daughter out, escort her to the car, and the two of you decide to elope.......come through my daughters bedroom window and we'll be HAPPY to attend your funeral.
Hmm... Not a particularly good part of Tulsa. Not surprising.
