Thousands of San Francisco Bay Area residents may have been exposed to measles last week when an unvaccinated student at the Unversity of California, Berkeley, attended classes and rode the area's BART transit system.
Public health officials in Contra Costa County, outside of San Francisco, said anyone riding BART from Feb. 4 to Feb. 7 during the morning or late evening commutes could have been exposed to the highly contagious respiratory virus. The young man in his 20s lives in the county and was confirmed to have measles on Wednesday. He was likely infected while traveling recently in Asia, health officials said.

Measles is vicious, I know someone whose kid died from it.
A great number of California granola crunchers are avoiding vaccination and endangering everyone else when they traipse off around the world, and then pick up the disease.
some might, but others practice what they preach and don’t have kids b/c they love mother gaia more and also as barack points out, “kids are burdens.”
Idiots, the whole lot of them. I’ll have to check to make sure I’m vaccinated (although I’m sure I am) and I plan on vaccinating my kids no matter what.

If one kid caught it our moms would take us over to expose us.

Yeh; it’s just unnerving hearing about a breakout of disease.
Vaccinations are a public-health measure. Some are not clear on the concept.
A certain percentage of vaccinated will still get it.
