Cornyn must have gotten his GOP votes for cloture.

We had the chance to stop this in the House not the Senate where Reid plays his games as well as so many RINOs sitting in the Senate but now may vote against this abomination, claiming that they “had no choice” in the matter.

Let’s take bets on which republicans stand with Harry Reid:

McCain, Murkowski, Kirk, Collins, Corker, Heller, Hoeven, Ayotte (they’ll need a couple of extras to give some cover to the democrats up for reelection).

Graham, Cochran, Roberts, Alexander, McConnell and Cornyn will pretend to be against it because they’re up for reelection and have primary challengers.

Tell me again why we have a debt limit when it means nothing?

The cloture crapweasels like Cornyn will vote for cloture but against the bill. Just like they did for Amnesty and Obamacare.

Something could be in play. If every Republican votes against cloture, Reid can go nuclear and then the debt ceiling is squarely on the senate rats heads and congress is absolved.

But then, his red state rats have to go on the books.

Strategery? Nah...the Republicans will once again steal defeat from the jaws of victory.

Reid and Cornyn have already worked out a deal. Reid will get his GOP votes.
