Cyber Marriage Coming to Tennessee?

You'll probably read about it first here, but last week another "party" asked to join in the lawsuit filed last October to have declared unconstitutional a part of Tennessee's constitutional amendment defining marriage as the relationship between one man and one woman. "Legitimate" media outlets probably won't report on the motion filed to join in the lawsuit, because it shows how silly things get when society decides it can redefine marriage. But it may not be as silly as one might think.

Twenty years ago the idea of "gay marriage" seemed remote and absurd too. Maybe this isn't really all that far-fetched after all.

I agree with the lawyer. If you are going to redefine and dumb down marriage so that it's equated with sodomy, then dumb it down all the way so that all perversions are included. Because that's the logical end of the slippery slope.

This is why people who were against a Federal Constitutional amendment defending traditional marriage and who thought same sex marriage should be a state's rights issue were dead wrong. It was only going to take one state to fall, by any means including judicial activism, before pressures ramped on all states.

I wonder what state he married his computer in? A quick google shows a man marrying his computer in Britain, and a Japanese man marrying a video game character.

“if procreation and biology are irrelevant to marriage, then why should the only thing that’s left — love — be restricted only to human relationships?”

Exactly.

My grand kids GOT MARRIED, by just checking the little box on Facebook MARRIED... and saved the trip to the courthouse, flowers... This is the modern way. And to get a divorce, just change your status..to IT´S COMPLICATED.

Most men have already consummated such a marriage, many times over, if you get my drift!
