Thanks for your wonderful civic advice, Mr. City Slicker. But if I am directly confronted with being the immediate victim of a violent crime and am given the choice of a voting finger or a trigger finger, I prefer the option of the "trigger finger".

However, this is Baltimore we are talking about, so I suppose decent people trapped there don't have many other choices. Well, maybe they could whimper, beg, and surrender whatever the thugs want and also vote to give them more "equality".
