Obama administration to further delay healthcare mandate
Los Angeles Times ^ | February 10, 2014 | Noam Levy

WASHINGTON – The Obama administration will phase in a requirement that large employers provide their workers with health benefits in 2015 and 2016, offering businesses more relief from the so-called employer mandate in the president’s health law.

Under regulations issued Monday, only employers with more than 100 full-time workers will be subject to fines in 2015 unless they offer coverage.

The requirement that all employers with more than 50 full-time employees provide health benefits or pay fines – which was supposed to begin in 2014 under the Affordable Care Act – will not take effect until 2016.

“The requirement that all employers with more than 50 full-time employees provide health benefits or pay fines – which was supposed to begin in 2014 under the Affordable Care Act – will not take effect until 2016.”

Wasn’t that supposed to start - directly stated in the law - at the end of 2013?

It’s the law! Why deprive hardworking Americans the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of this fine piece of legislation?

This is so unfair.

...I’m glad current employees retain their current health care coverage.

Will they? It will still be against the law, as written, for insurance companies to write those policies. Will their corporate lawyers tell them "sure, go ahead and write those policies King 0bongo says it's OK?"

One of the reasons the IRS had to add those 15,000 attorneys and accountants was because the law is like an amoeba. It changes daily.

Since SCOTUS declared the law to be a Constitutional tax, do we even know if the law today is the same law that SCOTUS reviewed?

Obama has changed it so much on his own, so why should we presume that the SCOTUS ruling is still valid, since the law then is no longer the law now?

I am having a very hard time trying to see any difference between Barack 0bama and Hugo Chavez - aside form the fact one of them is moldering in the grave.

So the Clown can ignore the law.

Why not? He does it all the time.

Boehner, whether he was sincere or not, got it right when he said immigration law is not happening because the Clown cannot be trusted to enforce the law.

Just wondering if the speed limit is 70 and I go 90 and I get pulled over can I just say Obama says that laws do not apply because he deems whatever applies at his discretion.

Just remember if you eliminate the O and the a’s in Obama all you have left is bm.

The Obamacare Manadate is the same BMCare. it is all full of BM.

Eric Holder and Obama are "the law" - at least they think they are. The truth is that God is the Law, and when they stand before Him they will have much to answer for.
