Openly gay ski jumper: It's not worth protesting Russia's anti-gay law because 'no one cares'

An openly gay women's ski jumper says protests against Russia's law banning homosexual "propaganda" aimed at minors aren't worth it because "no one cares."

Daniela Iraschko-Stolz of Austria, who is a gold medal favorite in the women's normal hill, married partner Isabel Stolz last year.

After training Sunday, she said, "I don't think it's a good idea to make protests here, no one cares ... I know Russia will go and make the right steps in the future and we should give them time."

Is it just me? Or does anybody else not think that influencing minors to have gay sex should be banned, not only in Russia, but anywhere else?

I think NBC has pretty much drive audiences away with their all homosexual all the time protest coverage. Advertisers should be furious.

Advertisers should be furious.

Heck the advertisers (see GM) are all doing pro-gay ads.

Whoa! Do not post her picture, I think even Laz would have problems hitting it.

Spot on. Our family usually gathers ‘round the TV to watch the Olympics. Not this year. I cannot stand watching this year. Bob Costas and NBC have turned this into the homosexual games with their prurient interest in homosexuality and their intense desire to try and mainstream it. You can just see it. Their driving goal is to talk about it over and over again, just constantly forcing the issue.

We have decided not to watch this year. Nice job, NBC.

I got sodomite fatigue over a decade ago when I noticed EVERY new show on TV had a gay character snuck into it.

It’s not just you.

Interesting how the usual suspects have conflated a law against homosexual propaganda aimed at minors (a very narrow set of proscribed behaviours), and “anti-gay law” (which suggests something much more extensive and draconian). Interesting, but not surprising; given how experienced these usual suspects are at propagating propaganda on these matters.

Advertisers like Chevrolet can't complain as they are promoting homosexual marriage in ads airing during the Olympics.

The Left is absolutely consumed by this. They are consumed by homosexuality. Two percent of the population and it is being talked about 90% of the time. Everybody is “courageous” for telling me that they prefer to debase themselves with unnatural acts. Great. Good for you. Frankly, I don't need to know and I'm not interested in what passions you've permitted to consume your flesh.

Yep, we started to watch the opening ceremonies...and within 10 minutes, Ol’ PinkEye Costas was talking about whether or not Russia DESERVED the games, and THEN he started an interview with the CLOWN currently occupying the Oval Office.

We turned the TV off of the Olympics and HAVE NOT TURNED IT ON SINCE.

NBC wants to worship sodomy and Obama, they’ll do it without our patronage. Shove it.

I haven’t watched the Olympics in years but I thought the homosexuals already had their own “gay Olympics”. Why do we need two of them?

God forbid that the actual Olympics take any attention away from the gay agenda, even for a minute.

Here's a decent picture. In most of the pics, she looks distinctly athletic; but what do you expect from a world-class athlete? I'd think I was doing very well indeed--- believe me --- if I looked like her.

Speaking of which...what in the Sam Hill is up with Costas’ glasses? He looks right into the camera and it’s as if his right eye is twice as large as his left.
