Raul Labrador is my congresscritter. I just sent him an attaboy and told him that immigration/amnesty is a losing issue. Out here in the country owebamacare is killing us and if immigration is passed it will bury the corpse. If the GOPe wants to win the Senate this year NO AMNESTY - FIGHT owebamacare!

Ryan, Cantor, Boehner...all of the so-called "leadership" is as deceitful as can be. Ryan, for example, will forever be known as the guy who stabbed veterans in the back. Boehner is the guy who caves time after time. Cantor is the pro-amnesty guy from the east coast who doesn't have a clue.

The article suggests Boehner should lose his speakership if he pushes amnesty "this year."

How subtle these politicians are: they are saying they want it pushed next year AFTER the mid-term elections, and preferably in a lame duck session.

Boehner should be replaced immediately with only a consistent, anti-amnesty replacement. Don't give them the chance to open this to a House floor vote, ignoring the Hastert principle, during the lame duck session. The Speaker has the authority to ignore the principle of republican consensus before a floor vote. And even then, there are so many weasel republicans that an anti-amnesty speaker would have to keep in line.

We’ve seen this kind of a show before at the beginning of the session with noise from Bachmann and so on.

In the end only ten House heroes stood up to oppose Boehner’s leadership.

Republicans like Amash, Massie and Stockman had the cohones to oppose Boehner. Only if someone like them were elected Speaker would we have real change.
