I sold a stock today which had been moving up even as everything else declined....and sold after some longterm serious gains.
So I’m hoping for a blood bath in days to come, so I can jump back in with that cash!!!!
I keep buying back into the same fund while things are stable, at $X per month, but have baled on it a couple of times over the years.
If I jumped out of my window; I would fall about 2 inches.

If she hit one, she looked like a real seer. Nobody mentioned her other 5,000 blanket predictions.
She did hit enough to be of interest. Never paid much attention.

There are some serious deals out there on companies with 3% - 7% dividend returns!
In other words... Chill & look for bargains.
Getting 3.5% in a fixed income account at ING. Minimum is 3% no matter where rates go. Nice when you feel the need to dump equities.

You nor anybody else knows what the market is gonna do this year. You can make a case for it going up, I can make a case for it not. Everybody has different risk tolerance depending on many factors. But based on history bull markets don’t exceed 5 years and that’s where we are at. I know there are exceptions, I’m just not willing to bet that it won’t happen. So, I’ll take my 3.5% and be happy for a while. If the market dumps I’ll buy back in, if it doesn’t I make a little money while protecting my principle.

Well, of course it *might*. Darn near anything *might* happen.
Damn, I hate doomsters. If they think it’s going to happen then short sell. But panic mongers disgust me.
