Well do I remember that. I had a very left wing friend (not a commie) who had said to me: no matter what the Communists in Romania will stay in power, they rule with an iron fist.
I’ll never forget seeing the headline on the NY Times, just a few days later.
The harder they come, the harder they fall.
Made me smile...yes, very abrupty.
