Paul Ryan: Fate of Immigration Bill 'Clearly in Doubt'
Breibart ^ | 2/2/2014 | by Jonathan Strong

House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan, one of the top proponents for bringing a major immigration reform bill to the House floor this year, raised serious doubts about the likelihood of such legislation in remarks on ABC's This Week.

Ryan also provided greater detail about how the GOP's approach might be structured. Referring to provisions to increase border security and interior security, Ryan said “those things have to be in law, in practice, and independently verified before the rest of the law can occur. So it's a security-first non-amnesty approach.”

That statement is important because it implies key details about how he would like to proceed that are at issue in the internal debate.

First, Ryan suggested there would be a single piece of legislation (“the law”) that includes both security and legalization provisions. Secondly, Ryan implied legalization would be in that single bill but that security benchmarks would need to be met before “the rest of the law can occur.”

To pre-ordain legislation based on triggers that may or may not occur is pure foolishness and lazy. Triggers that force re-evaluation and new legislation to be drawn up would be a much for sensible approach.

A trigger to repeal bad legislation is an even better idea.

The pork-laden ADM/farm bill for instance.

The GOPe know very well that conservatives are not going to let it pass. They will use this to further their claims that conservations are the obstructionists.

It was their plan. They are at war against conservatives.

Distrust of President Obama was “the biggest issue” that Republicans raised in their discussions of amnesty.

Completely understandable----b/c amnesty is Obamacare w/ Spanish subtitles.

How about an “immigration reform” bill that does only one thing: enforce border security. Let’s get that done and then maybe in a couple of years we can talk about other things.

We all know how much attention Obama would pay to ‘triggers’ in an immigration bill, don’t we! About as much as he pays attention to laws requiring deportation...

Ryan is a tool. A wedge.

"So it's a security-first non-amnesty approach."

BS, Ryan. If illegals are allowed any outcome other than punishment for breaking immigration laws, that's amnesty. That's not my definition, it's the dictionary's.

I can’t for the life of me understand what the rationale is behind this push for amnesty. Is it all to show their Chamber of Cronyism contributors how hard they are trying so they won’t be cut off?

Obstructionism is far more preferable than advancing the liberal agenda.

Fate of Paul Ryan, as a national candidate, is also clearly in doubt.

Agitating pressure groups kept amnesty alive (1) by colluding w/ Third World govts salivating over the prospect of zillions in foreign aid....and....(2) dangling the carrot of illegal votes in front of vote-crazed Democrats .

Obama did everything he could to help---everything except fellate an illegal on the steps of the Capitol.

America-hating Ana Navarro---sometimes billed as a "GOP strategist" and/or "McCain adviser" says "she thinks" people on the right oppose amnesty because "they are racist..."

Race-baiting is Ana's second obsession (after gorging herself at the fiesta).

Lets set fat Ana straight:

(a) People on the right "KNOW" that people like Ana Navarro want amnesty b/c Navarro, and her ilk, despise America; her remarks show she loathes Americans.

(b) People on the right "KNOW" that amnesty is a diabolical plan to undermine US national security.

REFERENCE Quoting Miguel Perez of Cal State-Northridge’s MEChA chapter: “The ultimate MECha ideolog/y is the liberation of Aztlan (taking back the SW). Communism would be closest [to it]. Once Aztlan is established, ethnic cleansing (of Americans) would commence: Non-Chicanos (Americans) would have to be expelled — opposition groups (that's us) would be quashed because latinos have to keep power (over the gringos they loathe).”

==============================================

LOOK AT EM--- OBAMA, AND US LAWMAKERS, IN LOCKSTEP---COLLUDING TO STAGE A THIRD WORLD COUPE D'ETAT. The not so well-hidden amnesty agenda seems to have specific goals:

<><> (1) undermining US ntl security,

<><> (2) aiding and abetting crimes against Americans,

<><> (3) financing Third World political goals w/ US tax dollars,

<><> (4) suppressing dissent.

Heavens to Berchtesgarden.....IS A "PUTSCH" IN THE OFFING?

That bill is already law.

Sadly, they ignore it and won’t enforce it.

Ryan can write the bill with many inadvertent mistake that will be corrected later since it worked so well for the vets.

His word are meaningless as they should be for a liar and back stabber.

He barely won re-election last time.

He is going to be one of those guys we are stuck with for life too. Even if he loses. He'll run for every open office there is.
