I was reminded of that when watching Bill Ayers, an admitted bomber/murderer, wax on about love and peace last night.
Why not, we have Neo-Potzis in the White House that speak freely.
Anyone who resorts to Nazi name-calling, other than applied to actual neo-Nazis, is guilty of trivialization of history’s worst genocide. Not something to trivialize. Most who do it are mean no harm, but they should exercise self-restraint.
That ship sailed a long time ago. There’s no putting the genie back in the bottle, no matter what ridiculous laws they may pass.

Liberals are the most violent of haters. The mere fact that they want to forceably silence others proves it.
Neo-Nazi free speech... Heck, in the USA Neo-Nazis give the State of The Union address.
Nazi is short for National Socialist. At this point the evidence is in. Obama and his enablers are the new national socialists.
Just remember, they start with a group that every one hates, and then move to the ones they want to destroy.
No laws, self-restraint. And public shaming.
Deviations will henceforth be considered “hate speech,” now a criminal offense, and dealt with appropriately by the designated authorities.

They have used and abused “science” to the point that the profession if now on par with the media in terms of credibility.
His arguments were shallow and cliche. Suitable only for consumption by brainless 18 & 19 year old college students.

Fascism by any other name is still fascism. The remedy for speech you disagree with is more speech.
I was curious about the term "quenelle", having never heard of it. The dictionary definition is "a small seasoned ball of pounded fish or meat".
The term, when used as a "salute", has nothing to do with nazis and everything to do with the fish dish. Apparently, the quenelle dish has the appearance of a female *ahem* suppository. The "salute" is basically a variation on the old "up your's" (cramming in a suppository). This comic coined the term as a double entendre.

Oh, yeah. Because we should restructure all of society based on studies done by academics who couldn't pass freshmen calculus. I'll pass, thanks.
...perhaps it’s time to consider whether these and other countries may be right. Perhaps America’s fixation on free speech has gone too far.
I've just given the proposition all the consideration it is due. It took two seconds. The answer is no, and it's no for the same reason it has been for the last 200 years: speech control is impossibly corrosive to a free society. Advocates for speech control have become increasingly blatant of late in their admission that they don't want a free society, they want a controlled one with Guess Who in control, as if that control will be permanently in safe hands and never abused. The answer is no.
This would be pretty funny if it wasn’t so scary.
They want to ban the free-speech rights of Neo-Nazis.
This was one of the hallmarks of the Nazi and Communists regimes, censorship.
The irony is deep with this one.
