One in five Obamacare "enrollees" could have their plans cancelled for failure to pay their first month's premium. That figure is based on reports from health insurers themselves, some of whom have made 10 attempts to collect the first payment.

My neighbor, who happens to be black, told me that under 0bamacare it would be free to go to the hospital. You are accurate. You are not sarcastic.

Actually - the hoops to cancel the “enrollees” are nearly as heavy as kicking out a non-paying tenant in California....

Say February comes around, and an enrollee who has paid ZERO of their premium, gets seriously ill, has to go in the hospital and is treated at a cost of say - $100K. Guess who is on the hook for that... the insurance company plus the provider. They cannot deny services, and they must cover/eat that cost.

And of course, taxpayers will eat some of it too - as another thread posted in the last little bit reminds us.

Yep, and wait until the penalties and subsidy true-ups hit next tax time.

The day after Obama signed it, low-info types started showing up at doctors offices demanding their FREE health care.

20%? I thought another report said 80% had not paid. Why are they kicking out only one in four deadbeats?

Obamacare just proves the biggest problem Obama has. He came to the office with no useful practical experience in anything. Hillary has the same problem.

It is amazing how Americans can vote for people who can’t even balance a checkbook.

Tell them to send the bill to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, DC.

"Tell them to send the bill to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, DC."

In effect they are. If the insurance companies incur significant losses, the Obamacare risk corridor will kick in and taxpayers will be hit again to pay the insurance companies for their losses.

I thought they weren't enrolled until they paid their first premium.

Probably holding off paying until they need coverage.

I would think these figures from the health insurers themselves would be far more credible than ones from the exchange (which in the case of the federal exchange isn’t even involved in billing or collection).

They couldn't afford health care before it became ‘affordable’ how on Earth are they to afford it now?

Of COURSE they haven’t paid...the only ones who enrolled were those who thought it would be free.

Obama and his uneducated, uninformed, sheeple voters have set this country aflame...and like it or not, it’s going down. Why? Because the truth doesn’t hold water against skittles, unicorns, and rainbow talk of handouts, raising the minimum wage, healthcare for everyone (yippee!), etc. All the libtard lies sound good, and you can’t reason with complete morons.

To all the O voters now whining about their skyrocketing healthcare costs: BLLLLLLOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW ME.
