Ms. Johansson may be taking her first, tentative baby steps towards becoming a Conservative.
She has openly supported Liberals. She campaigned for Obama. She shilled for his health care law. She has always been there to lend a celebrity face to Liberal causes.
And THIS is the thanks she gets. Because the driving Leftist hatred of Israel outweighs even their urge to create Socialist Utopia here at home.
Congrats to a Daughter of Israel who made the right choice.
And here’s hoping it is the beginning of an education and growth process.

To be fair she isnt supporting Israel per se..but rather she sees the fallacy and hypocracy in boycotting businesses that employs Palistinian. She is being mugged though by the left so hopefully she sees reality for what it is.
Well..., don’t be too hasty. U. S. Jews are notorious for being supporters of the Leftists in our nation. You can’t group all people from any class together, but I am not particularly comforted her ancestry was as influential here as we might like to think. It might be. It might not be.
I hope she does have some decent residuals. She may need them more than ever now.
There are still people with courage in America. And when they show it, you can well bet that there are people on Free Republic who will try to pick it apart.

Good for her! It’s about time someone stood up to the bullies (Obama, PA, Kerry, Hamas, etc.). I’m sick of one after another celebrity backing off from Israeli support, and canceling shows, concerts, etc. Enough is enough!
Oxfam would rather see the Palestinians living in poverty and being cannon fodder for the thugs of Hamas and Hezbollah. Yes, that inconvenient fact that Sodastream employs some 500 Palestinians and pays them a decent wage is repugnant to the left, because they are no longer “victims”, read tools to “the cause”.

She’s not necessarily a friend of Israel though just because she’s against a boycott of a company she works for. It could be she wanst to get paid and/or is just one of those rational people that thinks boycotting an entire country because you may not like certain things it’s government does is a retarded policy.
Where ever I stand I forever stand with Israel.
