Congressional Republicans are taking President Obama to court over his use of executive power to sidestep Congress.

The executive actions that Obama touted during the State of the Union speech are adding fresh urgency to the legal efforts of Republicans, who say he is using the authority of his office in unprecedented ways.

"See you in court."

What BS. Start impeachment hearings this morning. Stop all funding for anything for the executive branch immediately.

"See you in court" -- my ass.

So what if they file lawsuits? It’ll just end up in a Democrat Kangaroo Rubber Stamp Court under a Democrat Judge.

They have completely infested the Federal Judicial System with traitors.

It's a move designed to impress the base. Won't fly.

If these guys had a pair, Obama and his accomplices would be in prison by now.

Going to court in this country isn’t going to do them any good. All of our “courts” are full of America-hating, activist commie “judges”. We don’t have courts anymore.

“We can go to court,” Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said. “We haven’t got many more options except [to] tell the American people that we’re seeing an abuse of the intent of the Constitution.”

I can see going to court on abuse of Constitutional powers, but how do you go to court on abuse of intent of the Constitution? If Obama's acts are illegal then you go to court. If you only think they should be illegal then what good is that?

See you in court?

Hahahahaha. That’s funny. /sarc

The courts are packed with 0bamadroids.

The military leadership is currently being packed with 0bamadroids.

The secretaries of state of the most populous states, i.e. the ones with the most electoral votes, are 0bamadroids.

The next POTUS is likely to be Hitlery or something equally as collectivist-statist.

The communists have just about sewn it all up.

I’m already considering abandoning this sinking ship. I’m too old for this. While there aren’t a lot of places on earth to go, there are still a few where they will basically leave you alone if you don’t make any waves.

Truth. They value their own second-tier power and ease over the health, welfare and sovereignty of its citizens.

Second Truth: They fear that Obama will use dirty information obtained through the NSA to ruin their political careers and personal lives.

We blame you McCain... get out.

Maybe they should sign a “strongly worded” letter. That would really shake things up. /S

Courts don't want to solve “political” contests. The House Republicans are a bunch of wussies who want someone else to do their work. They have the power of the purse, why don't they shut Bathhouse Barry down. Poor, worthless Republicans paralyzed as they moan: “Oh, God forbid, we can't shut the government down or we will be called bad names by the libs.”

>> Stop all funding for anything for the executive branch immediately.

Well, there was a time not so long ago when the House of Reprehensibles could’ve actually DONE that.

But they stupidly pissed away their leverage.

They can’t do jack squat now. Good job, Boner/Cantor/Ryan!

I don’t understand why they want to do this. President Bush used a ton of Executive Orders. I think it is what is done. I guess it used to be rare but the recent Presidents have used them a ton. http://georgewbush-whitehouse.archives.gov/news/orders/

—— plans to file a class action lawsuit against the NSA-—

on what legal basis?

-——“The courts are very slow.”——

Is this a hint that since there is no law, there is no law and what might be considered as extra legal action is permissible against outlaw despots?

We have tried #1 and #2, courts are number 3.
We have to do that, it’s how it’s supposed to work.
I don’t care if it takes 3 years or 4 or 5 to bring
him to justice. It all takes the wind out of his sails
and keeps him from mischief. Give him some more flameing
balls to juggle.
