Various radio commentators have suggested what the GOP should do tonight to liven up the SOTU.
How about we help them with some more. Here's mine:
I remember Harry Chapin's concerts; he'd sing "30,000 lbs of Bananas" and end with the audience shouting "It sucks, Harry!"
Maybe the GOP could just shout "It sucks, Barry!"
Invite DeSouza to attend. Invite the surviving relatives of the Benghazi debacle. Invite a regular Joe that lost his health insurance because of 0-care.
Invite anyone harmed by the dictator.

Those who do watch will also have to endure the sight of captive Republicans sitting there being trashed and humiliated. And sometimes even appalauding their tormentor.
Go, but laugh out loud, long and hard, at every ridiculous thing that’s said (there will be plenty of wacky material to work with).

If POTUS chooses to present the SOTU in person to congress, as opposed to a written report, why should congress provide him the benfit of any consideration of reverence?
POTUS could just send a written SOTU and avoid the theatrics. If POTUS chooses the theatrics, then POTUS should suffer the considerations.
The current “reverence” and “polite consideration” of the POTUS in the SOTU smacks of imperialism and...REALLY...needs to be eliminated.
I believe I read that the father of one of the Seals
is going to be there. Could be interesting, but
decorum will probably out.
GOP should all have small buzzer the they bush when Barry lies. I can see it now. Buzzards going off in many different places. Buzz you Barry.
The word lie should be a GOP talking point.

The GOP is in a very target rich environment. Obama has given them a gold mine of talking points replete with lies, contradictions, and pathetic failures. The problem is the GOP discards all the nuggets and keeps the tailings.

Most of our state has been closed for the past two days; I’m self-entertaining and am enjoying a few days away from work.
No water this morning, but LUCKILY the pressure tank just needed to be re-booted; it must’ve been having problems with the cold. That was VERY LUCKY! :)
My chickens are doing fine; no frost bite on their combs or feet. They have a coop, so they’re all snuggled up for warms. The cat actually slept with the dogs last night - she’s not done that in all of her 14 years, LOL!
I’m ready for SPRING! :)
Congressman Joe Wilson should read the speech in advance, note each of the really obvious lies in it (there’s bound to be dozens), and at each one, stand up and shout “You still lie, sir!”
And each time he does it, the entire Republican contingent should stand, clap, and yell “Hear, Hear!”
Then let’s see if he gets censured this time around, or is considered the equivalent of the child who said the Emperor was wearing no clothes.
During the aftermath, Wilson and the rest of the GOP will be able to dissect each and every lie as they’re interviewed over and over by a seething mainstream press corpse (spelling error intended.)
