Different concept, I think. Isn’t that what the air marshals use?

Fragmenting bullets are nothing new, but these seem to have some decent penetration as well.

They did at one time but I'm not sure what they are using now. We did some tests with pigs when these came out. They do what they say they do. The wound channel is a mass of liquefied gunk. There is no tissue or organ left to fix. There is no way to stop the bleeding. They leave a big nasty wound and depart 100% of the bullets energy into whatever is shot with them. They coined a new term, unsurvivable torso wound.

It is capable of going through barriers such as sheet rock, plywood, sheet metal or glass and still performs its original intent. The bullet shreds through solid objects and only then, expands its energy.
================================================================== Sounds good until you stop and think abut what happens to the rounds that miss their target. To me they do not sound like the best set up for an urban setting. Collateral damage could be pretty bad.

"How about a Sabot round....that would send them packing."
Sabots also insulate the bullets from the rifling in the barrel. I love them but the cops hate them. There are no rifling marks on the fired bullets so they can not be associated with any one barrel or firearm.

I doubt it. Pieces are too light, as usual, imo.
Don’t trust their videos. Wait for independent tests.

They call it the R.I.P. round and with good reason. G2 Research has released a new ammo that is taking the market by storm and has gun owners all over the country trying to find where to pick some up.
As of now, the company is only releasing specifications for their 9mm round and they go a lil something like this:
* 16″ Penetration
* Up to 6″ diameter spread
* 96 gr projectile
* 2″ grouping at 25 yrds
* 1265 FPS / 490 Muzzle Energy
* 9 Separate Wound Channels
* Precision Machined
* Solid Copper / Lead Free
* Defeats all known barriers such as sheet metal, sheet rock, windshields, plywood, heavy winter clothing
