I, too have no coverage since I lost my job back in October 2013. Can’t afford anything right at the moment - paying cash (and getting a cash discount) for what medical expenses I do have. I will be damned if I go anywhere near that abomination of a government health care website.
I will also refuse to pay a penalty of any kind. Let the games begin.
Three hots and a cot and it's all "free"!
..... I was just thinking that a collective protest by exercising our freedom in this country by eligible folks purposing not registering for this monstrosity by the deadline and beyond .... just might cause quite a stir in the media. The optics of the excessive fines and possible jail time by patriots doing this as a protest may definitely wake a few up and open a few eyes.
Plan now, if you should become employed on a job that with holds fed taxes, make sure you won't have a refund coming or they'll simply take your fine out of that.
....LOL .... Luv ur tag ..... Definitely good to do during the big freeze!
The burden of proof is on you. You must furnish the insurance co. name, plan number and membership number, for each person covered.
There are a few exceptions like Medicare where the fedgov already knows.
Well at least 47% have a valid excuse .... they are wards of the state!
Only the ObamaCult will be watching his State of the Sham-Wow Lie-A-Palooza ‘14 Blabberfest tomorrow night, and you can bet they already know all the deadlines.
Look at box 12 with code DD on your W-2.
.... Well ... perhaps if it only lasted 24hrs .... but it would take a long term commitment for patriots as the numbers begin to rise. Heck ...... The media attempted to ignore the rise of Tea Party patriotism. But the constant voice from the movement and the groundswell of patriotic Americans letting their voices be heard ... made the media at least stand up and notice. The Tea Party is now practically a household name.
..... By doing this .... would be a personal way to defund Obamacare at the customer level. Many could participate by denying it our hard earned cash that it desperately needs to survive. Unfortunately there would be penalties that would need to be paid on many levels but sacrifices must be made during a revolution to save a nation.
Well, good luck with it but many of us are into the age group where 6+ maintenance prescriptions are not uncommon and having had our policies cancelled, have no choice but to purchase a new policy. In my case I would be on an IV diet within a few days if the Rx stopped. Others would be worse off.
I'm hoping that at least milk baths are covered.
Do not comply.
Another option, concierge medicine:
