It was warm here last night above freezing,
tomorrows high about 17 deg F though.
Then warms up at end of week again.

We want our GoreBull warming back.
Now Lieberals are postulating that man-made global warming is creating severe climate changes in fluctuations. Anything to twist and morph into their agenda.

Sat outside at the NHL Stadium Classic at Yankee Stadium in NYC yesterday for four hours. The high for the day was a balmy 24 degrees, with wind chills down in the single digits. Looks like that was the warmest day for the rest of the week in New York!

“When it’s springtime in Alaska, it’s forty-two below”.

There is nothing between the stretch from the Midwest to the Northeast, and the Arctic Circle, except a barbed wire fence.

And part of that is down. The Alberta Clipper is blowing in full force.

Forget hurricanes, of which there may be a sizable swath of intense damage. Repeated cold waves like this promote FAR more, if somewhat diffuse, total damage, economically and physically.

Adversity there is plenty of, no need to go out and invent some.

Hell is frozen over.

The impending polar plunge will rival the frigid days from earlier this January for the coldest daytime highs and nighttime lows so far this winter.

That's true, but only because we have more preceding cold and more snowcover. The temperature of this incoming air mass is about 6-8C warmer than the early January Polar Vortex airmass. This airmass will hang around a bit longer so will result in some lower lows. There might be a few lower high temps but not many.

Yes, they are saying 3 inches of snow here in S.E. Louisiana. Not our record though. We had 8 inches in 2009. Darn Global Warming.

I’m in alberta, and we’ve been plus temps for over a week. We hit 53f just the other day.

-20f isn’t that bad either. They can get back to me when it hits -76f.

I hope everyone has adequate heating though.

Is it that global warming is causing global cooling, or is global cooling causing global warming? Or is global warming causing global cooling that balances off global warming, thus explaining the relative stability of temperatures for the past 17 years?

Whatever the answer is, I am sure that it is to be found in liberal ideology.

They’re saying possibly 5 inches in the northern part of Houston. That’s some deep snow. We’re heading to the store in a few hours. I doubt we’ll be out and about on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Man, I feel sorry for those folks in the Midwest who use propane for heat. It’s up to five bucks a gallon. I saw one guy who only had his 1000 gallon tank half filled. It cost him almost $2,500. People simply cannot afford that.

If I live in those areas I’d have me a wood stove in the barn and a flu already installed.
