Robert Gates "Duty..." does not indicate that he knew of the danger of Obama. (Vanity)
Vanity

I have been reading Robert Gates "Duty..." and am astonished to find no evidence that he was aware of an Obama takeover of America. I wish I had known this before I bought my AR-15 and a thou of ammo.

That said, I still don't know exactly what to make of this book.

Gates was with the CIA for 26 years and presumably would even know if their were extraterrestrials at Roswell...but he provides absolutely no alert as to an Obama (or communist) takeover of the U.S.

Please note that I am not through with the book...but so far...nothing.

And Gates is a straight talker.

The Bolshies harp on the fact that Gates says dumBO was right on his policy decisions. Does that include, cutting the number of troops requested for the surge in Afghanistan, firing McCrystal, and setting a surrender date.

Obama has been worse than Carter for our country...but Gates hasn't said that we should run for the hills because of a Communist takeover.

If Obama is simply a bump in the road...we will recover.

If he is the face of a Communist takeover...we will have to go to the mattresses.

Gates has not sounded the alarm! And he is in a position to do so.

Gates is a straight talker? Really? Where was his mouth when he chose to collude in the disastrous military policies of the Alien Usurper. A "straight talker" would have said "I resign." He served this psychopath in silence and only now is willing to venture a few tentative criticisms in his book. BFD. Gates is a moral coward.

I don’t trust Gates at all. Anyone else trust him?

Write him a letter telling him so...I think he will respond.

And ask if you can publish said letter here on FR. I think he will agree.

... said he has “abandoned free market principles to save the free market system”...Pres. Bush

If what you say is true, America is being betrayed by previously loyal Americans.

Why would they do this?

Very good questions and begs of us...what are we not seeing? Because somehow it is in plain sight and yet we are blind to it?

He served this psychopath in silence...

The other side of that coin is that he was willing to remain in place as "our inside man" who believed he could perform a greater service than whatever was to be achieved by a dramatic public exit.

There are also a couple of possible reasons why he would not release bombshell info in his book. First, to be effective, such releases ought to be part of a coordinated effort. In this regard, we do need to carefully consider who might be the next WH occupant if warranted by circumstances this far in advance to the next scheduled election.

Secondly, and perhaps most important, he isn't the only one who knows of various specific bombshells (the isolated release of which may at the time could have appeared futile) and any current solo release of such could compromise those others.

The network that put Obama into the White House were working under mom and apple pie facades of their own creation in the training programs and organizations and charitable foundations and think tanks of the opinion-making professions. They tried to remain under the radar - that was the point of working from within on goals and objectives, papered over with phrases like “social justice.” They might very well have succeeded in eluding a Gates. Their goals were and are long term. See the memoir of Whittaker Chambers, Witness, published in the early 1950s.

I told you what I think he should have done. He should have told America what their president was doing to the military BEFORE the election.

My point is “outing” him a year after he was re-elected is a little late as far as I’m concerned. But, of course, now that he has a book out he can join the Fox Book of the Month Club.
