I live VERY close to this place. I live in Arnold Maryland (Suburb of Annapolis) and Columbia is not to far away. I called my colleagues who live in Columbia but still work at the Naval Academy. They are all fine which is great.

UPDATE, 12:48p ET: Federal authorities who are receiving reports from police on the scene report the shooter killed himself. Stay tuned for a press briefing at 1:15 p.m. ET.

That is great. So glad to see everyone looking out. This is getting ridiculous, but my response to liberals complaining about guns and malls, I simply say that guns are not allowed in malls….they are “no gun zones” and I see it works real well. Kinda makes them shut up for at least a minute.
