Progressives in power looking for payback (Obama, Hillary, Cuomo, De Blasio, et al)

A few random news items from around the country:

•Dinesh D’Souza, a prominent conservative filmmaker, was indicted for allegedly violating federal campaign-finance laws. The indictment was “the result of a routine review by the FBI of campaign filings with the FEC by various candidates after the 2012 election for United States senator in New York,” said a spokesman for the US Attorney’s Office. Routine. A Google search for “liberal filmmaker indicted” did not turn up any liberal filmmakers who have been indicted.

•James O’Keefe, a conservative maker of provocative films, said the New York State Department of Labor had taken an intense interest in his shop, Project Veritas, issuing a subpoena and burdensome requests for documents. Days earlier, the Democratic governor of New York state, Andrew Cuomo, had said “extreme conservatives,” of whom O’Keefe might be considered one, “have no place in the state of New York.” Mayor Bill de Blasio added, “I agree.” Finding common ground with the other two, O’Keefe also agreed and said he was moving his small business to New Jersey.

•Another filmmaker, whose crude anti-Islamist video the Obama administration found convenient to blame for the unrelated deaths of four Americans in a Libyan terrorist attack, was arrested within two weeks....,

As in "If you offend the Junta, you will pay?"

However, from their perspective they are the victims. We, conservatives, have been stopping them from creating paradise on earth.

These Lefties play for keeps. They want to run Government as if it were a dictatorship like Columbia. The Democrat electorate see that as the only way to eradicate the conservative forces holding them back from their Utopian Great Society. Of course, these Lefty politicians manipulate and use that illusion to hold power.

Liberalism is a teetering house of cards. Payback? No, these are preemptive strikes. The truth is what is feared.

This is just the beginning as the Marxists tighten their grip on America. If they are not stopped now, something like Castro’s Cuba will be our future.

I don’t know which is worse, the Democrat’s “payback” or the Republican establishment’s silence. When a Democrat is investigated they circle the wagons and call it a witch hunt. When Republicans are the target their fellow Republicans silently head for the tall grass...

The lawless are outlaws.

The treacherous despots use the law to batter and intimidate

Conviction is not required. Indictment and harassment is the tool of choice

coincidence theorists

Is it coincidence that Democrat presidents are the ones doing this payback shit?

. . . the purpose of the Great Sedition Trial of 1944 was to destroy Roosevelt's pre-war critics as attention turned to post-war matters particularly about relations with communists. IMO.

The Great Sedition Trial of 1944

Once again I say the left is moving rapidly to initiate a Great Sedition Trial of 2014 that matches what FDR tried to do to opponents with the Great Sedition Trial of 1944. FDR started with small fry and planned to move up the chain of opposition.

FDR failed. Obama might succeed, the Establishment today is arguably aging 1960s New Left Marxist-Alinsky radical, campus psycho spoiled brats and their ideological issue. The Establishment in FDR's days were Americans who eventually stopped:

". . . one of the blackest marks on the record of American jurisprudence. In the legal world, none can recall a case where so many Americans were brought to trial for political persecution and were so arrogantly denied the rights [guaranteed] an American citizen under the Constitution.”

Sedition has become opposing Obama.

Wot? Nixon did it?

If he did it why was the word endeavoured used five times in the nine articles of impeachment?

  1. endeavoured to obtain
  2. endeavoured to impede and frustrate lawful inquiries by duly constituted executive, judicial and legislative entities
  3. endeavouring to interfere with the conduct of investigations
  4. endeavouring to misuse the Central Intelligence Agency
  5. endeavouring to cause prospective defendants . . . .

DOJ gives O’keefe and D’Sousa the full body cavity exam, but this same DOJ cant seem to find any wrongdoing at IRS, or with Benghazi for that matter. Pitiful.

When the law is applied in an arbitrary and capricious way, it becomes another tool of tyranny. Obama's approach of the law is what he says it is when he says it, is a hallmark of dictatorial governments. There is a quote from Atlas Shrugged that some Freeper will have readily at hand.

First you try to reeducate.

Those you can’t reeducate you exterminate.

Bill Ayers and co. talked about exterminating 25 million Americans which couldn’t be reeducated.

Anyone still think they were just talking for the sake of talking?
