I like the cowboy look....am sure Texans wouldn't disapprove either.

The Sweaters are another “thing” altogether. Wasn't wise to use the flag as any “terrorists” will know who to pick off if they're stupid enough to try.

Greg Gutfeld on The Five joked that the uniforms appeared to have been sewn in the dark. ;-)

We’ve always had horribly tacky outfits.

John Waters of ‘Hairspray’ fame couldn’t do worse. They are beyond parody.

Canada’s ceremonial outfits and competition uniforms are stunning in their clean, tasteful design. They regularly put us to shame along with nations like Norway. Remember the Stateside mania for those Roots deep red berets etc?

Well, you may as well have a red target on the backs of these US athletes. What a bunch of idiots. I’ll venture to guess that all the athletes will wear this outfit only on the opening day parade. After that it will be packed up and forgotten.

Those look just like my first pair of ski boots. 1968

Still have a pair old Norwegian style skiboots, use them for hiking, comfortable. but would have liked the Olympic outfits a little less glaring, easy to spot for terrorists to

Wow... It’s been years since I’ve seen a picture of the 1980 Winter Olympic uniforms. I was in high school and worked (after school had let out for the day) in the factory that made those coats. Nice non-union, high quality, USA made coats... If I knew then what I know now, I would have bought extras in increasing sizes so I could have had one on hand for always. They were soooo warm. Now the factory is gone now...

I think that was 1984 in Sarajevo because the sign says "SAD", which stands for the USA in Serbo-Croatian. (Sjedinjene Američke Države)

Yeah... We made those coats as well. It’s just me not remembering which style was made for which years... I was confused. It was always a big deal in our little town that the local manufacturer was getting to make the coats. For years, we made all of the childrens winter-wear for Sears and J C Penney’s. It was amazing to walk through the shipping department and to see where everything was being shipped. All over the world... It’s all gone now. Five large sewing factories making everything from men’s dress shirts, to jeans, to casual shirts, to uniforms, and then outerwear. Employed several thousand. Not a single one still in operation...

Many of the other teams have good looking uniforms...they made a mistake having ours designed by Ralph Loren....
