Krauthammer on Healthcare.gov: 'All hell's going to break loose'

Charles Krauthammer predicted Wednesday on "Special Report with Bret Baier" that "all hell's going to break loose" if the administration can't fix the problems with the Healthcare.gov website by mid-March.

"Right now the insurers are guessing at the subsidy, so all of this is on the honor system and it can be wildly off," Krauthammer, a syndicated columnist and Fox News contributor said. "If they undershoot, the insurers are going to go bust. If they overshoot, the government is going to be stuck with a huge bill."

Obama has achieved the defacto nationalization and politicization of our nations health care system.

And now Obama and his band of incompetents have to actually manage something.

This is akin to electing the Three Stooges as Mayor of NYC.

A man who cannot direct his staff to build a website cannot direct the healthcare of a nation.

Fixing the website would be about as effective as having a nice functioning cash register is a restaurant selling sh*t sandwiches and forcing people at gunpoint to buy them.

just changed under ObamasCare*. You must be admitted by your primary
Physician in order for Medicare to pay for it! If you are admitted by
an emergency room doctor it is treated as outpatient care where
hospital costs are not covered. This is only the tip of the iceberg

** Page 65/section 164: The plan will be subsidized (by the
government) for all union members, union retirees and for community
organizations (such as the Association of Community Organizations for
Reform Now - ACORN).

** Page 203/line 14-15: The tax imposed under this section will not be
treated as a tax. (How could anybody in their right mind come up with
that?)

** Page 241 and 253: Doctors will all be paid the same regardless of
specialty, and the government will set all doctors’ fees. This is what
they do in Sweden too. I know because Alf’s daughter Ann is an OBGYN,
and her husband, Thorsten, is a surgeon.........

** Page 272. section 1145: Cancer hospital will ration care according
to the patient’s age.

** Page 317 and 321: The government will impose a prohibition on
hospital expansion; however, communities may petition for an
exception.

** Page 425, line 4-12: The government mandates advance-care planning
consultations. Those on Social Security will be required to attend an
“end-of-life planning” seminar every five years. (Death counseling..)

** Page 429, line 13-25: The government will specify which doctors can
write an end-of-life order.

HAD ENOUGH???? Judge Kithil then goes on to identify: “Finally, it is
specifically stated that this bill will not apply to members of
Congress. No wonder they did not see the need to read it....doesn’t
apply to them!!! THE AMERICAN PEOPLE NEED TO STAND UP TO WASHINGTON ..
I don’t know if we can do anything but but awareness helps.

Obama ordered them to botch the web site. He has become the master of crisis, both self created and those that happen to just come along.

Thats how Obama accomplished nationalizing the Health care system. Meanwhile he is laughing at all of America who treats the Obama Care system as if it was an effort in “good faith,” when it so clearly was not.

The crisis was created to nationalize health care.As to lynching Obama? I doubt it. Major insurer Aetna observed: “We see only 11 percent of the population once firmly uninsured that are now insured. So [O/Care] didn’t really eat into the uninsured population” (the raison d'etre for its passage). Aetna is considering dropping out of the O/Care system---leaving a huge gap in the plan.

FOR THIS BOOBAMBA DESTROYED THE ENTIRE US HEALTHCARE SYSTEM---Months after the wobbly roll-out and screwed-up web site, Obamacare cunningly shifted people who were already insured onto its public exchanges to get taxpayer subsidies.....but failed to disclose these facts in order to hide its incompetence.

There is a lot of "stuff" there to make a lot of people unhappy, but the sad truth is that much of it will be unhappily accepted, or at least not fought vigorously. Even where it is, this thing is crafted so that the number of people who do benefit, or think they benefit, as with the subsidies, offsets the opponents who are actually willing to raise hell. Except... and you point it out:

That little item is what could PO most everybody, especially when, not if, the hackers make their move(s). That in turn is why I think the website is such a crucial part of the coming stink. The website is essential to implementation of ObamaCare; not so much for signing people up, it is the working (/sarc) hub of the whole thing. Think of it as the weapon in the hand, er, hands... ...and it will be used on you.

Also, when this thing fails, who’s going to trust the gov’t to fix it with even more government? I can see that working if there was a slow fail, as others have said: Say, over a 5-10 year period. A major collapse by 2014 would pan out much differently, IMO.

Idk. Couldn’t the collapse open the opportunity for free market action to improve healthcare. You don’t really need insurance, just affordable access.

Handheld devices, including smartphones, will replace a lot of medical testing. Technology is outpacing bureaucracy.

Well... I do admit that outside of FR, at least 30% of the population is beyond reason and logic, and are probably in favor of a single payer / 100% gov’t health care system, anyway. But on FR, SURELY we can do better in terms of reason and logic. And surely we can cheerfully, vigorously, convincingly, and humorously at times make the argument “You want more of THIS?!” to most people.

Now I will grant you that in a more general sense, we may be doomed. I’ve even been known to post so, when some piece of very negative evidence to the survival of a free USA confronts us. I just don’t think that ObamaCare crashing would be that sort of evidence, and its crash should give us freedom lovers a ray of hope.
