Bias: Have you heard the one about the Texas gubernatorial candidate who created a fictional life story to sell herself to voters? Probably not, since the person in question is a darling of the liberal media.

Wendy Davis hit the national spotlight last year when she mounted an 11-hour filibuster against a bill to ban late-term abortions in Texas (that was ultimately signed into law).

The media swooned. The New York Times called her "a feminist folk hero," a "titan in pink tennis shoes" and "a single mother who became a lawyer (and) stood up to the Republican boys' club." CNN gushed about Davis' "history of persisting against tough odds." Others called her "courageous," "articulate," "gutsy" and "inspiring."

She was a rising star in the Democratic Party with a shot at claiming the governorship in a solid-red state.

And she got remarried just three years later to a man who would pay for her college degree and foot Davis' Harvard Law bill by draining his 401(k) and taking out loans.

Then, literally one day after he made the final loan payment, Davis dumped her second husband, while handing him legal guardianship of her precious daughter so she could pursue her career.

You can't make this stuff up. Somebody (Fox News, maybe?) needs to track down her ex-, put him on camera and find out if he has any regrets.

I've noticed that the more a liberal is capable of lying, the higher they rise in the party. I first noticed it with Chuck Schumer - his cover-up for the ATF at Waco as a congressman made me think the guy was a rising star.

And the more outragous the lies - think Elizabeth Warren or Debbi Wasserman-Schutz, the more they are pushed into leadership roles.

Rochester NY's newly sworn in black, female mayor (do I have to add the party affiliation?) was just caught in two or three lies in less than two weeks.
She was pursued (literally, on foot) by some in the local media to explain and her response was essentially - I've put that behind me, I'm moving forward.
Reminded me exactly of Bill Clinton, Hitlery, Elliot Spitzer, Anthony Weiner, Kathleen Sebelius ...
