Very true - the thing that's concerning about a reiteration of that scenario is that the attendant revolution would likely mirror the French Revolution rather than the American.

No matter who “goes first”, that will be the gauntlet they run. It won’t matter who righteous the cause or how right the action... We aren’t fighting a virtuous or principles enemy here.

Part of giving up is losing touch with, and the fear of God. Yes, we need a massive spiritual awakening in this nation, which likely won't ever happen. But those of us who refuse to give up on God, and on the Constitution, will receive our reward, either here on Earth or in Heaven.
