The Shame of Benghazi

When anything bipartisan comes out of a polarized Washington, one should be grateful. That's why a Senate Intelligence Committee report on the September 11, 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya, that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans represents progress of sorts.

The committee, chaired by Sen. Dianne Feinstein, (D-CA), faults the State Department and intelligence community for failing to prevent the attacks. The committee determined that the U.S. military command did not know about a CIA annex in Benghazi and that, writes The Washington Post, "...the Pentagon didn't have the resources in place to defend the State Department compound in an emergency." This communications failure between agencies, supposedly solved after the September 11, 2001 attacks, had not been. If it had, the report found, Benghazi likely could have been prevented.

Sen. Feinstein criticized some Republicans on the committee for adding a section in the report called "additional views" in which they intimate that then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was culpable in the attacks. In a statement, Feinstein, wanting the record clear, said the accusation was "patently false" and that Clinton was "not mentioned a single time in the 58-page bipartisan section of our Benghazi report."

Yet, in an October 16, 2012 interview with CNN in Peru, Clinton said about Benghazi, "I take responsibility. I'm in charge of the State Department's 60,000-plus people all over the world, 275 posts."

So, Clinton was "in charge," but not at fault, is that it?

In her additional views entry, Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), said, "To be clear, the responsibility for the attack lies with the attackers themselves. Unfortunately, the promises of the president and other senior administration officials to bring any of the attackers to justice have ringed hollow thus far. The report finds that more than a year after the attack, the terrorists who perpetrated the attack have still not been brought to justice."

The Times reported in September 2013, "Intelligence officials have a general idea of where they are hiding. And the military has a contingency plan to snatch them... But the fledgling Libyan government, which has little to no control over significant parts of the country ... has rebuffed the Obama administration's efforts to arrest the suspects."

The report contradicts claims by the administration that the attacks were sparked by an anti-Muslim video and concludes that individuals associated either directly with al-Qaida or one of its affiliates were involved and likely planned and carried out the attacks.

What is needed is for Speaker John Boehner to appoint a select committee, modeled after the Senate Watergate Committee, with subpoena powers to question under oath witnesses and those in charge.

According to an exclusive report from Breitbart.com, three relatives of those killed in Benghazi, including Pat Smith, the mother of Foreign Service Officer Sean Smith, have written Boehner asking that he name a special committee. Co-signers include "scores of conservative and military leaders." Pat Smith has said President Obama and Secretary Clinton promised her they would find out what happened to her son. So far she has heard nothing.

A New York Times' editorial writes, "The report, parts of which were blacked out, says there is no indication that the CIA ... knew of a time or place for a specific attack. It describes the attack as 'opportunistic' and not 'a highly coordinated plot.' This dovetails with an investigation by The Times, which found that the attack was triggered in part by spontaneous anger over an anti-Islamic video." The Times has a lot invested in its incorrect position and to issue corrections might take gallons of ink.

In the "alternative" media universe truth can still be found. If media elites awarded prizes to Fox News, that network's chief intelligence correspondent, Catherine Herridge, would deserve one. Her tenacious and accurate reporting kept the Benghazi story alive when mainstream media appeared to have lost interest. In an email to me, Herridge writes about those who died in Benghazi: "We cannot bring them back, but we can honor them with the facts."

It's a shame the Obama administration does not seem to share her attitude. That's why Speaker Boehner must name a special committee to uncover what the administration appears to be covering up.

The issue is our scummy politicians have their priorities arranged for their own benefit, while Americans are left to fend for themselves. All we can do is watch the clowns in the “center ring” under the “big tent” destroy every agency. service, and department we once trusted. Shame on politicians. I will not vote for any incumbent....no matter what.

In his never-ending search for “diversity,” tolerant and compassionate Boobamba announced he would use tax dollars to build a bar next to the proposed Ground Zero mosque for the exclusive use of gay Islamics.

Names for the proposed gay Islamic bar include: al Gayda, Grind Zero, The Holey Land, You Mecca Me Hot, and Jihard.

(Cackle) New Campaign Ad for 2016 Hillary:
"IT'S 3:00 AM AND THE PHONE IS RINGING FROM BENGHAZI"

WATCH IT ON YOUTUBE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwaWz7jTcGk&feature=youtu.be

===============================================

Yoo, hoo, Hillary---Gehad's on call-waiting.

This is Gehad al Haddad, Muslim Brotherhood activist AND former Clinton employee.

Gehad is sitting in a nice comfy Egyptian jail as we type. Gehad al Haddad is a Muslim Brotherhood spox--and a former employee of Hillary and Bill's tax-exempt foundation.

Gehad was arrested by the Egyptian military for inciting violence AT THE SAME TIME he was a Clinton employee.

Gehad knows plenty abt Benghazi AND how the Muz/Bhood uses tax-exempts for money-laundering (to finance terror activities against Americans).

But how to tell Hillary?

ROTFL.

HILLARY'S WARNING SHOT-- The recent 60 Min
Benghazi retraction reveals Hillary's evil hand. Hillary has a lot
of sway w/ 60 Min. CBS-TV better not queer the sap-happy
message she wants out there for 2016.

OBAMA HILLARY LOVE FEST ON 60 MINUTES---
Boobamba hustled Hillary onto TV to gaze in adoration, after
her arrogant dismissal of the Benghazi massacre before
Congress ("what difference does it make?").

=============================================

AIN'T KARMA A *ITCH, HILLARY? the US helicopter assault ship Kearsarge, WAS in the region, ready to airlift Benghazi personnel to safety. Americans were lied to----we were told Kearsarge was not available to help endangered Americans in Benghazi.

=====================================

MILITARY.COM reported during the Morsi crisis, that US Pentagon officials declined to give specifics on conversations between DOD's Chuck Hagel and Egyptian Gen al-Sisi....

Although the officials would not discuss the specifics of the military- to-military talks, the U.S. would need Gen al-Sisi's approval to move through Egyptian air space if Washington decided to send Marines to aid in the evacuation of U.S. personnel.

READY TO ROLL About 550 Marines and their tilt-rotor MV-22 Osprey aircraft are at bases in Spain and Italy on standby if they are needed. A Navy Amphibious Ready Group with 4,000 Marines and sailors aboard, led by the helicopter assault ship Kearsarge, was also in the region following completion of the Eager Lion training exercises in Jordan.

FIVE SECOND BENGHAZI QUIZ

(Q.) Who holds the key to unlocking the Benghazi secrets Obama and Hillary will not divulge?

(A.) That would be Egyptian Gen Al-Sisi who drove blood-thirsty Muslims out of Egyptian politics and has vowed to rebuild the 63 churches torched by the Muslim Brotherhood.

Right now, sitting in an Egyptian jail is a man al-Sisi arrested for inciting terrorism. That man is Gehad al Hadad....once employed by the tax-exempt Clinton Foundation.

THE CLINTONS IN-HOUSE MUSLIM TERRORIST
The Clintons tax-exempt foundation employed a Muslim Brotherhood activist.

This is Gehad al Haddad, Muslim Brotherhood activist AND former Clinton employee.
(The stupid Clintons did not know Gehad was Farsi for "jihad")

Gehad also knows how the Muslim Brotherhood launders money to finance terrorism, using "tax-exempt foundations."

As far as I know, Egypt does not have any limitations on obtaining information from terrorists---like prohibiting waterboarding, etc.

Rest assured---we will know everything---all in good time.

Speaker John Boehner is right on it - just after the 2016 elections that is.

Amen!

It's a shame the Obama administration does not seem to share her attitude. That's why Speaker Boehner must name a special committee to uncover what the administration appears to be covering up.

Sadly, Boehner appears to be compromised. His dereliction of his duties is appalling.

Allen West says that Boehner was part of the Super 8 and the Super8 were possibly told of things that they don't want uncovered.

For instance, what if they were still doing rendition in Benghazi, this after Obama had pranced around and passed his law. That would make them culpable and chargeable with the international sorts--wouldn't it?

Yes, if it were not for FOX we would have no news on TV.

The title is wrong though. It should read “The Crime of Benghazi”. What was done there and in Egypt is a HUGE CRIME against humanity.

If we ever regain control and the rule of law is reestablished, it will be the trial of trials for the US. There is no precedent. And the collateral damage in DC will be enormous and widespread.

If anyone believes the crap about our forces in Aviano, Italy, not being able to deploy aircraft for hours, they are willing fools.

No NATO General would ever pass a readiness inspection if it required hours to “build bombs, load aircraft, and deploy to target”.

No AMERICAN PRESIDENT would ever be so foolish as to announce to the world and our enemies that we lay around, so ill prepared to respond.

Removal of Boehner as Speaker of the House is the key to the 2014 Impeachment of B. Hussein Obama.

As long as Obama can keep Boehner on as Speaker of the House, Obama’s job is in safe and loyal hands.

The cowardly House RINOs fear Boehner, and thus keep Boehner on as Speaker.

Thus, the basic problem of stopping Boehner from running with Devil Obama lies squarely with the cowardly House RINOs.

The GOP Cave In on the “amnesty for illegal alien invaders from Mexico bill” to Devil Obama avoids having to enforce existing Federal Border Laws, a consistent goal of the Democrat Party from 1986 onward.

The GOP Establishment will always avoid any conflict with their betters, - - - the Democrat Politicians.

Boehner is dedicated to giving aid and comfort to the illegal alien invaders from Mexico, and America is the worse for it.

If politicians stand for nothing then they will fall for anything.

To make a difference, you have to have a difference.

Is Boehner resisting or running with the Devil Obama?

FORWARD !

My ex brother in law was there in Aviano that day as an air force crew chief, his bird was spooled up ready to take off (my words, not his). They knew all about the situation. OK, HE didn’t know exactly what was up, but he knew SOMETHING was up.

Boehner gives every sign of working for Obama. He will not appoint a select committee, no matter what the pressure. He is part of the cover-up IMO.

Why did Hillary and Obama use American taxpayer provided equipment, personnel, facilities and funds to overthrow the government of Libya? If they wanted to get rid of bad guys, they could have started with Castro in Cuba. He’s only 90 miles away. Why Libya?
