I first became aware of Van Susteran when she was cohost of Burden of Proof with Cossack? on CNN. She usually took the liberal side of issues but it was clear to me she wasn’t a leftist and she presented reasonable arguments.

Since she’s been on Fox I’ve become a fan and it seems to me she’s become much more conservative but maybe that’s just me. Her Scientology thing, as you say, does not enter into her reporting or even her opinions as far as I can tell, I don’t watch her all the time but enjoy her show.

Thanks for the congrats on the Seahawks, I’m not a fan like I used to be since moving north and I miss the LA Rams. :-)

Yup—she and Catherine Herridge have done excellent reporting on this story. Herridge’s first reports were spot on, and I think she deserves a Pulitzer, but fat chance of that happening!
