Consoling Ms Meagan for losing her talk show gig?

As much as I dislike him and listening to him, I’d *almost* rather have him than Leahey - ugh! what a sleaze!

Sorry, but when I was a Catholic, we went to church on Sunday morning.

Are you a 7th Day Adventist and you now call your service a mass ?

My opinion is as valid as anyones unless you're claiming the announcement of a secular thread is catholic ...

I'll continue this after church

Maranatha

DNC Dave is really going to chew Gate's butt...and then he has to pull in his fangs in order to smooch glossy Feinstien’s ample rump...
Tim Russert has spun so much in his grave due to the liberal fascist doofus hack who replaced him his coffin is ground to dust.

Y”ALL!

Morning Folks, thanks for the best thread in the history of the world, and a pretty darn good ping too.

So it’s snowing a little bit, fairly warm, but threatening to go Arctic later in the week.

Now...Leaky Leahy vs Putin...

Should I watch the Communist...or the leader of Russia?

It looks like Obamacare, the abject failure of socialized medicine in the United States, is now “old news”.

There was a thread yesterday that even the US Chamber of Commerce [predominately Republican] is accepting that Obamacare is here to stay and they are backing away from battling against it.

We have lost that battle. We may get some modifications, but it does look like Obamacare is here to stay -- unless it falls on its own.

Thank you, you said just what I was thinking.

The shows don’t stop me from attending my church as the meeting time is at 1:00 PM and I’ll be there.

Wow....what a nice person. Calls me a 7th day Adventist cause I went to church on Saturday? Heh.

Welcome to you Marantha.

I will not respond to your silly comments again.

You may have the last word.

When broadcast TV dominated, those shows might have had some impact on public opinion, as they presented opinions the viewers did not hear every day.

However, now that cable dominates and has a half-dozen 24-hour news channels, the Sunday morning programs have lost their luster.

I have posted many times that the networks use them to decrease the number of religious programs and as filler for the time until the noonish sports programming starts.

They basically have the same audiences week after week, as their viewership ratings seldom change by more than a few thousand each week.

As a newcomer to this thread, you are not aware that many of the regulars are churchgoers. (I go at 11am Sunday - so am free to watch most of the shows before I leave home.)

Don’t be so quick to judge us.

Thank you Granny. That person just called me a 7th day Adventist cause I went to church on Saturday.

I love it when people jump on this thread and act like jerks. They provide amusement of a sort.

Wanted to tell you all about what’s happening here in Delaware.

Mayor Bloomberg is spending millions on enacting new gun control laws and Delaware is sick of it.

All via Beau Biden, son of Joe, stroke-ridden asshole won’t leave us alone, excuse me. When I go to church on Sundays I don’t cuss.

Anyway, here’s the gun laws they’re trying to force down our throat:
-background checks
-only THREE bullets
-can’t have a gun if you have bad breath
-blue eyed people do not get guns
-if your house is messy....no gun.
-if you’re the black sheep- of the family....no gun.

We’ve been going to Dover and yesterday we got the gun laws off the table....THEY WON’T LEAVE US ALONE THEY WON’T LEAVE US ALONE THEY WON’T LEAVE US ALONE.

Also, later, a story on how the state of Delaware is about to pass a law directed to ME!

More on this later.....yes I’m fighting back.

Wisniewski (sp?) getting his 15 minutes of fame as NBC continues to kick the dead horse - wonder how much time they will spend on `Benghazi and the IRS today?

Good Morning, Blessed Sunday, Alas Babylon! and y’all!

I have to record the PUTIN program ... Kroger’s errand as always.

Trying to endure David Gregory at the moment, who just asked his his guest, Assemblyman John Wisniewski, D-N.J,

“Is Chris Christie a bully?”

Thanks for the thread again, AB!

Not to high-jack your ever-great thread with football, but a couple of shows of interest today (non-Sunday morning talk shows).

AFC Championship Game: Patriots at Denver (3 p.m. ET - CBS)

NFC Championship Game: 40whiners at SEATTLE (6:30 p.m. ET - FOX)

I’m really nervous about our game. Our offense (including my guy, QB Russell Wilson #3) hasn’t been playing as well the last few games as they did earlier on. Though Marshawn Lynch #24 - our RB (Beastmode) has been doing great as has our defense. Hope Kaepernick won’t be kissing his biceps today! Prayers up and fingers crossed! GO HAWKS!

Don’t mean to offend anyone that supports any other NFL team, but I thought this video was fun (of course I would - - I’m a die-hard Hawks fan :-). You might like it, too(be sure to have your speakers on):

Hey RL....

Today I am making oyster stew.

Dear Lord in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, one little 8 oz thing of oysters COSTS EIGHT BUCKS!

I love oysters, I’m from Merryland.

I always had oyster stew in milk and butter and so that’s how I make it now.

I looked all over the internet and could find no other recipe for oyster stew than mine own.

Just wondering if you might have some ideas.

FOR YOU AND YOU ALONE....TODAY I AM ROOTING FOR THE SEA HAWKS.

Comes the Super Bowl I’m going with the Patriots cause beloved husband from Massaliberalplace but for now I’m hoping the Sea Hawks come up against the patriots.

You do know a Sea Hawk is nothing but an osprey and the Chesapeake Bay is full of them?

Your welcome.

Wish they would as much time on what happened, and just where was the prez when our brave guys were being slaughtered in Libya as they are frothing over “bridgegate”.

Looks like you could stand to spend a little time in church. Pay good attention to what the preach says (hopefully he’s not a liberal)

Before you get back...try to get a grip.

Geeez!
