A senior administration official tells POLITICO that President Barack Obama on Friday will announce the end of the National Security Agency’s telephone metadata program as it currently exists.

The official said Obama “will order a transition that will end the Section 215 telephone metadata program as it currently exists, and move to a program that preserves the needed capabilities without the government holding this data.”

If he has the authority to change it in one way, he has the authority to change it in another.

Since he swore, before he was even elected, to always take the side of the Muslims, I have no doubt that all NSA spying on the brotherhood will be immediately terminated and will instruct them to concentrate their methods on American citizens . . . for they are the ones that constitute a danger to his dreams of a dictatorship . . .

Far well and all that?

Maybe. Hell, probably. Mankind does not like freedom. Most people prefer to be slaves. But it does pop up in odd places.

Russia seems to be trying to recover. Maybe we will someday.

Calm down. You are going to have a heart attack and miss all the fun when the fireworks start. You don’t really think any of us believe that the Constitutional Republic is going to be restored through the ballot box or the judiciary, or Article V do you?

My point is that the Kenyan is apparently from reports I have read pretty disturbed by that Federal Judge’s ruling. He doesn’t wna things to get out of hand so he’s pretending to back off on the NSA text spying.

If the program is congressional mandated, the president can’t end it.

So if Congress mandated a program that forced you into involuntarily servitude, the president couldn't end it?

“The NSA is still building massive data storage centers and will likely force the phone companies to store the records in the NSA sites.”

Yep. It will be collected and stored in an NSA site. But it will be “property” of Verizon. And when the government wants to use it, they’ll need a “ruling” from a secret court,,,, to look at the info, stored in the NSA site.

I gotta bridge to sell anyone who believes that whopper,,
