Each Regulation that our Representatives place on us reduces our Freedom of Choice, and thus our Liberty.

Sen. Mike Lee Uses One Simple Photo to Argue That Weve Become a Nation of Regulations
Ever notice how wordy gays are?
Yeah, there’s that as well as whoever heard of serious people holding back on a career move, or even starting one, based on health insurance? How limp-wristed , gutless, and incompetent does one have to be to nurse a half-assed job for a perceived freeby? Sounds like there’s an AIDS factor, or some other STD, involved in the related story-—not to mention a dose of Nanny-Stateness or a desire for motherhood.
who says she's dumb... or is it a brief moment of mental clarity???
and why is the mutt she's married to, who IS NOT WORKING, unable to do his OWN phone calls? is he even dumber than she is???
and the RATS, take another one in the.........HA ha!!!
We no longer believe God keeps an account of our actions, so God has let government have access to our very thoughts and we will answer to the Evil that is government. Just a thought but, maybe we should be asking for forgiveness, before it is to late. "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." --October 11, 1798 John Adams
I was talking with someone today who has been dealing with the MA state-run exchange. So far, they have had their subsidy “recalculated” three times, then got a final answer, which is different from what the insurance company received as the final subsidy. Then the state lost part of the info to send to the insurance company to issue the policy.
Alas, Brave New Babylon.
In case you didn’t read downthread. There is no ‘she’ in this article.
The author is referring to HIS husband.
The original question though is valid. Why is the ‘husband’ unable to complete his own phone business and clerical work?
I have some friends. Trust fund babies. Big liberals. They had really top of the line insurance but -by choice - it did not cover maternity care, contraceptives or psychotherapy. They were cancelled and were shocked that the cost of their insurance had tripled.
They blame the insurance companies.
If carefully read, the entire article can be boiled down to this:
“ObamaCare is a good idea. We just have to get the right people to operate it”.
I’ll wager any amount she will vote D again.
For many, stupid can’t be fixed.
Once again we get the false claim that having a pre-existing condition would have prevented an individual covered by group insurance from getting coverage upon leaving his employment. HIPAA has provided for over a decade that insurers are mandated to provide coverage to anyone coming off a group policy who has maxed out his/her COBRA.
The false claim has been repeatedly made as a justification for ObamaCare. What IS different is that ObamaCare MIGHT have made that mandatory coverage cheaper by limiting age related premium increases, but the claim that he wouldn’t have been able to get coverage is absolutely false.
True, and the GOP isn’t making any significant effort to point out to them who that is.
I caught that, too. He referred to him as “my husband” only once. After that it’s Miles this and Miles that.
Ha! You said “dickering”! It fits in this story.
Ha! I said “it fits”!
Can you imagine how many people are going to the doctor believing they automatically have insurance?
I wonder which one is responsible for taking the free birth control pills?
People “voluntarily” leave paid Employment to pursue their “dreams” and we the Taxpayers have to subsidize it?
Why do I go to work everyday again? Because I’m an Idiot is the only logical answer.
Being Married would mean he could add his Spouse to his Employer Provided Health Insurance without that person’s “Existing Condition” being an issue, even before Obamacare.
They have been ‘journalists’ they entire lives and so have never had to do anything productive.
They believe in unicorns and fairies and think “some day the government will get this right”
