The Federal Bureau of Investigation doesn't plan to file criminal charges over the Internal Revenue Service's heightened scrutiny of conservative groups, according to law-enforcement officials, a move that likely will only intensify debate over the politically charged scandal.

The officials said investigators didn't find the kind of political bias or "enemy hunting" that would amount to a violation of criminal law. Instead, what emerged during the probe was evidence of a mismanaged bureaucracy...

Reminds me of the time I was in Chicago several years ago, and saw the local constabulary giving some guy a “wooden shampoo.” I must have looked a little shocked because one of the cops asked me if I wanted any. He didn’t have to ask twice....

The FBI is part of the criminal federal bureaucracy. They are no less thugs than their masters at DoJ. No one in FedGov can be trusted to defend the Constitution.

So, the government investigated itself and found no government wrongdoing.

Got it.

When the Dems took over the 3 branches of Government, the pResidency, both Houses of the Congress and the Supreme Court, they began installing friendlies in every area of ‘checks and balances’. So no more ‘checks and balances’ for the foreseeable future, if ever again. Sadly, those Dems that I still talk to ( not too many any more, thankfully) are quite happy with the totalitarianism by their side of politics. How can we stop this????

awww, you missed the good ones at the Dem Convention in 67.

Of course they were beating the hippies, so, it was cool, and my dad was laughing his ass off.

That’s when Dems were more conservative than R’s, and Old Man Daley would have nothing to do with hippies in Grant Park messing with his convention.

Oh, and they used to hollow their night sticks and fill them with lead, just for the sake of it.

But just you wait until an eeeevil Republican ever sees the inside of the White House again, I tell ya! “Journalists” such as Gregory, Woodward, and Chuck Todd will harrumph in indignity at the outrage of the Republican president frowning in public. How dare he frown in public and scare black children with images of THE MAN from the racist South. Calls for impeachment will be made, the Republican President will resign in shame, and the new Democrat president will once again call for unity and transparency.

Catherine’s (and her family) life was completely turned upside down by several fed branches - and the IRS hounded them privately and business-wise. Yet, no one is being charged. Got it.

Obama supporters are unlikely to find wrongdoing by other Obama supporters. It’s the same with police. Police almost never find evidence of police brutality or other wrongdoing.

Just as with Benghazi. If there will be no criminal charges, there must be political depth charges thrown at regular, frequent intervals.

When do we begin the push back against this criminal government? When do we actually do something? At what point do we react?

Or do we sit idly by and continue to let these bastards destroy our country? We should be burning down their godamn houses!

I’m sure Boehner is rallying support right now for a special prosecutor to investigate this, rather than simply holding another hearing.

Don’t you remember the story just a week or so ago? The FBI changed their mission statement “-—national security.” They took out the part about law enforcement. Seems like they are saying, then, there is no national security problem in the IRS? So who do we get to look into, oh, maybe, illegal cheapkrap in the IRS? At a minimum sorting applications by the party of the applicant might just be illegal or at least lawsuit worthy?

Since nothing will be done about the criminal act, all that remains is the lingering warning to the leftist and GOP-e opposition.

I always wondered why the media allowed this scandal to come to the light of day. Now we know. The police state strikes again.
